Anyone care to explain what's going on?

We think we have isolated the error now, and it should be possible for everyone to post again. Please be patient. We'll issue a statement when we're certain exactly what happened.

Well it seems to have worked. Hopefully it wont happen again.

It probably will. We've tracked down what the problem is, but not what the root cause of that problem is. We know how to fix things up so everything works again, and downtime should be minimal, but figuring out exactly what the issue is will take some time.

That info is generic. It's the info below that (usually in a little box with scrollbars) that's what we need to determine if it's the same problem that we've been having or not.
