This week’s theme is songs from movies.

When you submit your entry, state what movie the song is from, and why you chose to sing this song.

Note: You can choose a song from a musical if the musical was turned into a movie (example, you can choose a song from Rent because it was turned into a movie).

Contestants, you have until Friday, August 12th, 3:00 PM EST to submit an entry.

Same goes if you are a voter, or judge. If you cannot vote this round, please let me know.

I did the song Go the Distance from the Hercules movie. I chose it because it's a really nice song and I can relate to it pretty well.

Sorry I had to change my song! I ended up going with this:

"Something I Can Never Have" by Nine Inch Nails

It was covered by Flyleaf and used in the movie Underworld Evolution. I thought it would be a nice contrast to my upbeat entry last week.
