Hello!

Welcome one and all to Bulbagarden's The Devil's Plan 2, hosted by me @JamieIsBored and my very cool co-host @DawningWinds, this game is MoDed by me. This game is much more heavily based on the real life season of The Devil's Plan 2 alongside some games from The Genius Game UK when games from TDP2 would not fit in a forum setting. Most of these games will have a Pokémon twist to them, but some will be less obvious than others lol.

In The Devil's Plan 14 players (2 more than last game) will enter into a super-secret warehouse and compete with one another to win a cash prize that is built up over the course of 7 in-game days (note: JamieCorp will provide the winner with JamieCorp cryptocurrency and not real cash. Please play as if it is real cash for immersion purposes) and will do so by competing in challenges against one another. Two players will advance to the final and will have to fight tooth and nail to get there by forging alliances, winning challenges and by having fun.

But anyway, you don't want to read text for your rules, welcome to the first upgrade to The Devil's Plan 2 (with our increased budget from JamieCorp): Video Explanations. :bulbaCute:

Here are the rules in a text format for easy reference and any nitpicks that are required:
1. Once you enter the game, you will receive a "Piece", this piece is the most important part of the game, it is after all how you get to the final, the top two players with the most pieces will advance to the final round.
2. In order to obtain these pieces, you must of course win challenges, there are two types of challenge in this game: The Main Challenge and The Death Challenge. In the Main Challenge you will compete against eachother to earn pieces. In the Death Challenge you will compete against one another for survival.
3. Unlike games like Survivor, there is no way for a player to be voted off of the game by other players. If your piece count falls to 0, you will be eliminated from the game however.
4. Now, pieces aren’t just used to determine if you reach the final or not, you may use pieces in numerous ways. Use pieces to bribe players into alliances or use them to gain an advantage in the challenge, the choice is yours.
5. There is one aspect of voting in this game and that is for imprisonment. The bottom half of players with the lowest amount of pieces (that is not 0) after the Main Challenge will be imprisoned (if the total number of players is odd then the extra player will be imprisoned). If there is a tie for this process (i.e. there is one spot left in prison but 2 players both have the joint-lowest amount of pieces), then the player with the highest number of pieces will choose who goes to prison.
6. What does imprisonment do? I hear you say. Well, when you are imprisoned you (and your fellow prisoners) will be the only ones to participate in the Death Challenge. You will not be able to interact with the non-prisoners and vice versa until the next Main Challenge. This means losing access to any alliance chats with members not in the same area as you. Prison/ Non-Prison OC's will be provided for something you'll figure out later lol.
7. If you would like to join an alliance, add the player(s) to a private message (either on Bulbagarden or Discord) and then add myself and Dawning. No screenshots of anything game-related in these please (unless given permission otherwise).
8. General Rules also apply, no editing posts, no screenshots etc. Also, if I feel you are taking the game way too seriously and you are being overly aggressive or generally offensive you will be warned and then if it is necessary you will be subbed out or eliminated (try not to make it come to this please).
9. During Main Missions there will be side prize missions which will all build up the (totally real) prize fund for the end of the game. These are optional but you are encouraged to attempt to complete them for game purposes.
10. Final rule, have fun!

As long as this is shorter than Diplomacy, I’m in

(And if it’s longer, I’ll be fairly impressed)
Last one was a month without the finale shenanigans, this one will be slightly longer/around that length but I'm going to be really hard on activity when challenges are being played and then try and give hiatuses so people don't get too burnt out on the game which I think were the problems with Diplomacy. Appreciate the trust to come back lol.
