[Bulbanews] Americans to get chance to obtain Celebi: Tenth anniversary tour to run through July

What's awesome is that the tour is going to a city that's only about an hour's drive away, meaning I will *actually* have a chance to get this thing. WOO-HOO!

What sucks is that the obsession with tours continues in America while the rest of the world gets dick all.

One can only hope that D/P being online sees the end of this geographical bias.

Believe me, I'd MUCH rather have no tour than that comes NOWHERE NEAR ME. I'm NOT going to drive 3 hours+ JUST to get Celebi. But hey...I'm used to being given the shaft on EVERY TOUR IMAGINABLE. I'm not bitter. I'm just pissed.

Argh! March 18? But ... there's NO WAY I'll be able to get there after work -- unless they plan to be there for a while! Maybe my brother will go.... heck, I'll even send my mom if she agrees...

Which version of Pokemon Fan magazine included the info about a promotional card???

Good thing I sharked for Celebi since Canada's getting screwed over AGAIN!

It was a response to the fact that Celebi will be in Portland on April 15.

As for your question earlier, I'm guessing it was the most recent one. :p

Hello all -- I always read these forums and never post -- but I finally feel like I have something to contribute!

Back from the Miami event! It was so much fun!! I finally got my Celebii -- it's a level 70! In fact, all the Pokemon (well, at least the ones I got) were a level 70. One of the guys doing the downloads said that *techinically* they're only supposed to give each person 1 of the 20 available Pokemon listed, but if the lines aren't long (which they weren't!! Yay!) they're allowed to give out a few more. I got three -- Suicune, Tyrannitar, and Latias. I had trouble catching all those in the game.

The event was great -- I didn't get a chance to do the whole online qualifying thing so I could play in the tourney, but it looked like fun. The players didn't look like they were using too many Ubers -- I dont' even remember seeing Latias or Latios and barely any Kyogres -- and with the rule structure, I would have used those guys (hey, if you think everyone else is going to fight dirty....) A couple kids tried to download Celebi and then turn around and use him in the tournament -- no good. Celebi and a few others are banned.

I even got an official "trainer certificate" Did anyone else go? Pictures? My camera battery died! >.< Not happy. I should have posted ahead of time to see if anyone else was going to be there -- is anyone going to a later one?

Woot! *marks "Trip to King of Prussia Mall" on calendar for specific date*

Well, as Canada is getting the metaphorical finger again,
I'm glad I have Action Replay, because I'm sure as hell not going to Seattle just for something like that.

And us Hoosiers have to drive 3 hrs (Indy drive time)!

...Lucky Gary Pokemon fans.

Maybe you guys should write a letter to Pokemon USA (not Nintendo like everyone thinks). They're starting to head up everything. I think Nintendo headed up the tours years ago, but when I was in Miami, it was definitely the US Pokemon office.

Frak! They'll practically be on my doorstep. Too bad I'm not the type to want to fill my Pokedex.
