[Bulbanews] Australia to get Lucario movie in August

Its only a week before my 19th birthday but i not getting this movie cause i too old for any pokemon anime-related crap. he hehe
 
What a useful and contributive post. Well done. :)

Anyways, the box art looks cool - the same promo art from the pre-release of the movie in Japan - but the logo, and the name for that matter, throw me a little. They're a complete departure to the other 7 movies. Anyone would think that PUSA were actually dubbing this movie..........
 
Pfft. It's not good boxart. The two titular characters are nowhere to be seen.

It would be like if the DVD boxart for one of the Austin Powers movies didn't even have Austin Powers on it.
 
...would you have perferred the group standing their at the bottom of the cover in generic poses while the legendary Pokemon stand in the background fifty times larger than they should be?

I think it looks cool.
 
I agree with Argy.

I still think it's ugly. I thought it was ugly before and I still think it's ugly. It's just got the Regi's back there, yet no Lucario or Mew. What the heck? xD;
 
Well, in defense of the art itself - this was from the period BEFORE Lucario or Mew had been revealed as being in it. (In fact, it was on the page opposite the Lucario shadow in CoroCoro when he was first revealed)

And I feel that an actual piece of art, as opposed to just pieces of generic Pokemon art copied and pasted onto a random background, is a much better piece of boxart - whether it features Mew or Lucario on the front or not (expect them to be on the back though).
 
well well well, what do we have here? them SKIPPING us in the movies just like they did with the SERIES's, seriously, straight after the 3rd gym battle the R/S tv show, they cut off, and are showing Advanced Battle, now they are skipping Jirachi wish maker AND the deoxy's one? geez.....
 
They're skipping the first two AG movies... There may yet be hope for this movie appearing in Europe this decade.
