Mmm...I wonder what they're going to do with the expanded day/night system.

The most important question in my mind, however, is if all 386 old species (or at least the non-promotionals...bleah) will be obtainable in Pearl and Diamond. Or are we doomed to a plethora of games required for completion in every generation now? Another FireRed or LeafGreen? Surely we won't be forced to use the AG games...right?

Well, you start off with a Shino Pokedex that indicates that you'll only be catching in the region to begin with a mix of new and a handful of old Pokemon.

But you can transfer your Pokemon from R/S/E/Fr/Lg (and by trading across to those, Colosseum and XD) so you can just use those to get the older Pokemon.

Why wouldn't you? Didn't G/S force you to trade from RBY to get some Pokes?

Since R/S/E/FR/LG are compatible with D/P, I imagine a ton of old Pokemon will only be available by trading.

is there any proof about nidos being in dp
