Bulbapedia Bulbapedia adroid pokedex app

What are your ideas about this, it will be a simple pokedex application pulling its data from bulbapedia.
This application will however have adds to contribute to the cost that are made for hosting and whatnot.

I would gladly work on something like this in my free time, but I ain't really sure if there aren't any legal issues or something like that.

We were looking into working with the creators of previously existing Pokedex apps, but then Nintendo issued the creators with cease and desist letters. Thus Bulbapedia will not be creating a Pokedex app. Any app which claims otherwise is lying.

How does bulbapedia exist then, or is it just then name pokédex that ticks nintendo of ?

Well that was an interesting read, so it will be just waiting for Nintendo to make something like that. Combined with in-app purchases for guides and such of course :d.

I think you should do cross platforms, as I have an iPhone. Having a Pokedex on my iOS device would do me nothing but good. I'm sure you'd get more downloads and purchases as well.

Did you even read the rest of the thread? Nintendo is taking down any and all Pokedex apps. iphone, android, doesn't matter.
