Hello, my name is iambubba123, but most people just call me Bubba. Anyway, my first post is something I have wanted for a while but just got around to joining the forums to post. (If this isn't in the right section, please redirect me :) ) Anyway, I have been thinking, what about a bulbapedia app for both android and iPhone. Basically, it's the same bulbapedia, just with a more "phone-friendly" user interface. It would include the options to search pokemon, look them up just like the website, and contain a link to the forums here. Idk, just an idea. I don't know if anybody ever suggested this before, but please take time to read this.

Thanks
~Bubba

Yeah my bad, I should have clarified I was asked to so this so Kogoro could see it.

At one point we were interested in this sort of thing, but then TPCI started having Pokemon apps taken down for copyright reasons, as explained here.

Yea, I can sorta understand that, but maybe if you make it paid for, then both game freak and apple would get money from it. Money most likely isn't the issue though :p

Like Beausoleil mentioned, we had looked into developing a Bulbapedia mobile app quite some time ago. TPCi began taking legal action against the apps, and we chose to drop the idea in respect for TPCi not wanting these apps on the market. While it certainly would be a nice thing, and helpful for users, it's simply not something that we can do. The best we may be able to do is develop a mobile skin that will allow for more mobile-friendly access to Bulbapedia.

Alright, well thanks for looking into my thread anyway :)
