Burger King to pair promo cards with kids' meals: Pokémon USA announces marketing partnership

Pokémon USA and Burger King announced today that participating Burger King restaurants worldwide will offer one of 12 promotional Pokémon Trading Card Game cards and accessories with each kids' meal sold July 7 through Aug. 3 in the United States and in the late summer and fall internationally.

Again? Pokemon hasn't partnered with BK since the RBY days. I wonder what this'll do for the series' popularity.

yuck, I never really liked burger king that much (but maybe the yuck is an exaggeration) I'd prefer if they sponsored with McDonnald's like in Japan instead. It's cool though, power to the TCG. I'm pretty sure all this stuff must sell a lot better than most people think.
 
Didn't they stop partnering with Burger King because kids were choking on the plastic Pokeballs that were given out with those little Pokemon toys?
 
too bad i am allergic to their food. Hopefully, i can buy the cards sepertely like i can with happy meal toys at McDonalds.

Bad luck, Burger King/Hungry Jacks make the best burgers out of all fast food branches in my opinion. ;-)

No. They did two more promotions with Burger King, one for the second Pokémon movie and one to go along with the Pokémon Gold and Silver games.
 
Are these real pokemon cards, or are these just copies of the fake crap they gave me when the first movie came out.
 
Might be interesting enough to warrant me getting some BK despite me not caring for their fries.
 
I want there to be Pokemon toys but it looks like there Incredbale Hulk are toys out.

I'm too old for a Kids Menue Dx But now,I'm starting to interest for the Pokemon TCG...oO... 'Kay I want the Cards... ^w^
 
There's no age limit on the meal. Adults order all the time. :p
 
Wow so Pokemon is finally back at Burger King? I actually still have those cards that came with the Pokemon toys for the First Movie. Might have to go get a Kid's Meal soon.
