Burning Pokémon Episodes onto DVD?

Hey, if I was to burn tapings off TV in SP quality, withno severe commercial cuts, would the quality still be almost TV quality? I can't find Indigo League anywhere and also would prefer the original TV versions, it'd be more like watching reruns.

And on an off-topic note, where could I find good quality tapings that seem as if they were commercial free that still have the opening, PokéRap/Jukebox etc., and the ending? Any particular torrent or IRC?
 
Heres all the torrents I just use about two days ago to download pretty much every single episode. There are doubles of season 5,6 because the first torrents had a few missing eps. You should be able to find what your looking for with these.

So, if I was to burn, how badly would the quality decrease?
 
Well it definitely wouldnt be tv quality after it is all said and done. Just because the size of the episodes are like not even 800x600 so putting it on a tv they would come out nasty and pixelated probably, if they were like tv quality and pixel size they would be like ungodly huge files I think. They would be better suited for watching on a computer or ipod etc...

UPDATE: Hey ignore what I just said up there, I just tried watching a burned episode onto dvd on my tv and it came out pretty good actually. The quality wasnt as good as the original airing on tv but it was definitely not bad.
 
Was it about the same as an LP or even EP taping?
 
A little worse than both I suppose but its will hugely depend on your tv screen size.
 
Have you seen the Orange Islands DVDs? They'd be like that, right?

Do you notice any lag or fuzz?
