The state governor, Kathleen Blanco, advised those who refused to leave to write their social security numbers on their arms with indelible ink, so their bodies could be identified afterwards.

WOW. That is horribly morbid.

I also LOVE how Bush was set to go to Texas and backed out when he realized he might be "getting in the way". More like he's avoiding the danger. :rolleyes:

He would be getting in the way. Haven't you heard how much work had to be postponed for "safety reasons" when he visited NOLA?

Keep him in Washington, please.
