I like Beautifly more, though I don't think that picture of it is very nice.

As for who's stronger and who would win...I don't know. I have a beautifly but no butterfree, and the last time that I used it was around three years ago.
 
Gotta go with the original here. I've used both Butterfree and Beautifly to good effect in the early parts of their respective games, but Butterfree can learn Psychic type moves and has Compoundeyes for it's ability (which is good for both in-game and competitive purposes), so it's the more useful one. Plus, y'know, it's the original. Points for that.

So yeah, Butterfree here.

Butterfree is cuter, since I never use either one past the second gym I don't know who's stronger or more useful.
 
Butterfree. The best status inflicter I have and it was my first Bug type :3

Beautifly. Seriously, Butterfree just looks like they thought "We're gonna make a butterfly Pokémon" and threw together the first thing they could think of. Beautifly actually looks like they put some thought into the design. Both are utterly useless in battle, though.

Not at all. Beutifly is based off the the real life evolution of butterflies where their common ancestor split. One leading to moths (Dustox) and the other butterflies.

Butterfree is just a generic butterfly.
 
Wow, Beutifly's getting the hate. I personally like them equally, but I'll vote for beautifly because its losing by so much
