BW - What were your thoughts when Team Rocket switched to their White Uniforms again?

Like the title says: your first impression/thoughts when the TRio went back to their old clothes? Where you suprised or happy? Did you thought they were going to be goofy again? etc.

I really miss their black uniforms. They really sold home the point that the Rocket-dan changed for good for Best Wishes!. I was afraid that they changed for good too, considering their behavior in the Arti battle and the Hitomoshi Mansion episode.

I wish they kept the Black Outfits, only because they're still RINOs even with the change back to white. :(

Black was far better. They seemed more serious with the black on.

I was relieved. The serious personas aren't working for me at all. I just skip forward all their scenes now.
I hoped they would go back to being comedians, still waiting for that. The black suits are nice in a way but
the white ones are iconic to the anime.

Needless to say, I was quite disappointed by their later BW appearances.

I was pretty happy because I thought it would be a sign of the return of the good, old Team Rocket.
I mean,...Kojiro acted like he did back in the other series' and finally got a Pokémon. I really thought those characterless robots were a thing of the past.

How wrong I was....

IDK, the black (or rather, dark grey) uniforms had a certain aesthetic feeling to them. I really liked them... People look good in black! Especially villains! /shallow

Changing from white to black made more sense than the sudden change back to white. BW25(?) felt so random and came out of nowhere... But I like to think it was in honor of Takeshi Shudo. He died around when this episode was being written, right?

As someone wishing for Team Rocket to be funny AND accomplish stuff (no idea why a lot of people act like it has to be one or the other- it depends on how you write it)........ I was actually thinking, "What happened in those TR vs TP episodes?" O__O

If Ash had a Raichu in that episode all of a sudden after those two TR vs TP episodes we'd get that same feeling. (Well, we'd ask... "how")

That's mainly it......?

I was just all "Really? Why the sudden change back?"

I actually got the impression that maybe they just decided to go back to their usual selves when they weren't on some special mission, but of course that couldn't be the case. Now all I can wonder is what's in store for them by the end of BW.

I agree. They can be smart AND witty villains who don't spas out, resort to slap-stick and can make a few neat quips and one liners while making off with their spoils. Seriously, writers! This isn't rocket science! Okay, technically it is in a humorous way but you get my drift, right?

I was disappointed. As Meron said, the black uniforms just looked cool. And since their personalities didn't change back, I don't see why they couldn't just keep their uniforms.

It would be as if Ash suddenly reverted back to his Kanto clothes after changing to his AG outfit...seriously wtf.

I hope to see them in black eventually.

WTF was my response, I was honestly disappointed. Though, I did have a theory back then:

Black Uniforms = Competent and dangerous, but robotic IE Zekrom (The trios ideal state)
White Uniforms = Incompetent and idiotic, but have more personality and expressive emotion IE Reshiram (The trios true nature)

Due to various factors they would switch back and fourth depending on their developments. That would had made alot more sense to me symbolically than what they actually did with the trio, which amounts to nothing.

I thought it was stupid and pointless, tbh. The only reasoning I saw behind it was to show that "hey, see, these are still the same characters you remember", but ugh they looked so much better and bad ass in their black uniforms. The white ones just don't suit their serious tone.
