Summary

While Satoshi and frieds are heading to Sanyou city, they view a facility called "The Pokemon Battle Club". Ash hears that trainers are able to battle freely there, has motivation to go into the battle club.

My translations aren't the best, but it gives the general idea. Probably Shooti introduction since they haven't reached Sanyou city yet.

Battle Clubs sound as if it could be interesting. Maybe Shuuti is a member or something if they aren't related to Dento?
 
Its not clubs but club. I'm betting these are the new gym titles. Like, its not Sanyou City's gym, but Sanyou city's Battle Club! Or *forgot name* city's Battle Museum!

I don't know, a gym in the fourth episode? Ash had already evolved Starly before even reaching Sinnoh's first gym.

Then again, the writers could be trying to make up for dragging out the Sinnoh saga. Especially that year-long gap between Snowpoint and Sunyshore's gym battles.

Of course, we have absolutely no proof that battle club = gym in any case. Could just be a club for trainers that like battling.

With a mustache.
 
I hope we get summaries soon... but I doubt it's a Gym... and no, they didn't change Gyms to Clubs, we already know that... we know Gyms are still called Gyms and Gym Leaders are still called Gym Leaders

We never actually go6t a confirmation, just always called em that. What I mean is, we know there in, just the moniker is what we call them from habit.
 
Soo, battle club? Definitely makes it sound interesting except I keep having images of trainers battling between rounds of poker games.

But, yes, maybe its a fancy name for Dento's gym? Or something entirely different, like a sidequest?
 
What the heck? That would be interesting if it did turn out to be the first gym, then there would be no doubt that they are trying to rush things. However, if it were the gym then the title would have been different since gym matches usually have a unique title associated with them right? If it's just a place where people can battle each other though I'd be happy with that.
 
Nah, gyms are still here, check first post for summary, and I had my hopes up, damn it.
 
So, its not the gym. Oh well, but they're already out for Sanyou? Did they really just skip an entire town? I mean, the one before it is either skimmed or something, cause both episodes before and after seem to be travel eps.

I'm pretty sure Coro Coro already told us Dento and Aroe are GYM Leaders...

Even if that was the Gym (and apparently it's not) it wouldn't mean they're "rushing" at all...
The main cast is always established in the first few eps and they might have to reach the first Gym to make Dento join the cast
Ash/Misty/Brock was formed in ep 5, Ash/May/Max/Brock was formed in ep 4, Ash/Dawn/Brock was formed in ep 3
So I can see Dento's Gym being in the first 5-6 eps or so simply to establish the main cast early on, it won't mean we're going to get the ridiculous Kanto saga's pacing...

That line about BW being "faster paced" was mistranslated, it's wrong and it was ridiculous to even believe it - since they'll have about 4 years to fill just like with DP... and it's pretty obvious they'll do one long region again since it worked awesomely in DP (and let's admit it, BF was just Hoenn extended... there's no point to do that again)
 
Aw man, we have to wait more than 4 whole episodes to see Dento? *pout*

This concept doesn't sound too new...I mean, wasn't there something similar to a battle club in HGSS? It's just a place where trainers can battle each other....like a gym. A...regular person gym.

LOL, I don't know. If Shooti does appear here, I'll be so happy!
 
So I guess they want us to get used to Ash and Iris relationship first. I like that there waiting a few episodes to show Dento ^^
Either Ash or Iris will be catching a new Pokemon.
 
So Dento is not appearing immediately. Or at least his gym isn't. Mysterious Pokemon. Anything is mysterious right now. No telling what it is. It would mean little right now, but they still have one more chance to reveal a new poke name by titles, although it's not looking good at all. For once, the titles may not help us.
