I don't see the episodes airing before Japan, but who knows I don't think anything has been confirmed as of yet.
 
Was it even confirmed whether or not that the Japanese episodes will still air?
 
Because of various reasons, for example that TV Tokyo have now removed the notice that they'll air at a later date off their website, among other things, I believe they won't air at all. That might be just me though~

It's not even in the Archives? That certainly sucks. Let's hope that the episodes are at least released on DVD.

Also, I'm expecting that the U.S. will skip these episodes as well.
 
There's also the fact that they've used footage from the skipped episodes during the Live Caster segments.

Plus, it hasn't even been three months yet. The Rougela episode, when it got delayed due to the Porygon incident, didn't end up airing until ten months later.

And Dratini episode footage was in the Pokérap, which I consider every bit as important (that is, not at all). 12 years later, give or take X months, and still no signs of a that episode being released.

Regarding a dub (assuming it will happen) I'd like a near-simultaneous release, even if it's way out of order of the original episodes. I won't bother with the Japanese versions of these two or 26.

That's not the same situation at all. That episode was only banned in America, not Japan.

Would be nice if the dub airs before the Japanese version does. Like for the Arceus movie where everyone saw the English version first since the DVD hadn't come out yet.

Chances of it happening are pretty slim, but it's a nice thought....
 
I am really looking forward to these episodes. But for a very silly reason. Looker will be in them apparently (it says he will make an appearance on bulbapedia) and it will be an actual return of a D/P character (albeit a minor one), and I thought he was interesting even he was only in a few eps. Plus I wanna see if Ash will interact with either a high ranking member of Plasma or Giovanni.
 
I hope they do, there's no reason for the dub not to air them other than the fact Japan hasn't yet.

You're talking as if that was intentual... they obviously made these Oak's Corner scenes long before they decided not to air the skipped episodes... most likely, they simply forgot the fact they used scenes from these eps for Oak's Corner


It's sad, but most likely, these 3 episodes will never air anywhere...
Just like with the Barboach episode of AG - we had a preview, so the episode was announced and we got some scenes of it showed to us, but then they decided not to air it and just pretended in never existed

Yes, unlike that AG ep, these 3 eps are actually important for the plot... but - do they care? I'm not sure about that...

Fact is - they aired the 3rd Gym Battle ep despite the fact its TRio scenes don't make much sense without watching TR/TP eps, they aired the Emolga eps despite the fact Bianca being there doesn't make much sense without the fishing ep, they aired the recent double catch ep despite the fact it features Cilan's rod and lure which obviously debuted in the fishing ep...

Why would they air the eps after they're not relevant anymore? It won't make sense to air them after all of these eps...
What I wonder about is what that means for Team Plasma... my fears are that they'll just skip any Team Plasma episode that was already made and won't make any new eps about them, so there won't be Team Plasma in the anime and they'll change all their plans for the plot of BW

I hope I'm wrong and that the skipped eps will eventually air (and if so, hopefully they'll be in their proper order in the dub, cause it won't make much sense otherwise)
But I always prefer to be ready for the worst, while hoping for the best... so until we hear any official news about these eps, I believe they'll never air and that the writers' plans were screwed up

And you don't think the producers of the show are going over each and every episode to make sure they don't contain material that would potentially remind people of the tragedies that took place in March? I'm sure they're keeping an especially close eye on the Live Caster segments to make sure they don't contain any of the footage that got the two-parter skipped over in the first place.
 
The reason they were skipped in Japan is because of the recent disasters that took place, so I assume America wouldn't have any problem airing them (as mean as that sounds). It would be weird to have a premier as big as this air first in any place other than its original country though.

I doubt they go over Oak's Corner, otherwise they wouldn't leave these scenes from skipped eps there...
 
Or, they went over them and decided to keep them because they know they'll be airing those episodes eventually.
