Cilan challenging a Gym is interesting. Kind of reminds me of Dawn battling Maylene.

I wonder what possible excuse they will give for Cilan battling Skyla though. At least with Dawn her depression arc made sense.
 
He will suffer a crushing defeat.

And he will have to rethink his life.

And his ego will shrink.

It'd be good for him.
 
Well the reason I am not getting too excited yet is because there's a chance it might be fake...
 
So many meltdowns will come if Dento crushes Skyla but Ash loses his first time.

Dent is likely to lose.

But considering the writers know what will happen, they won't make it happen, and he'll win against her. Unless they know we're wise to their new twists, and will subvert those by having Dent lose. UNLESS they plan on us not thinking so hard, thus having him win. Unless they do take the chance that we'll expect it and think so hard, so he'd still win.
 
I'd like to see some form of proof that this is BW067. There's no date or epicode on the scan.
 
So if this is real then they basically got to the next Gym in the span of 5-6 episodes? The next ep after will likely be Ash's battles. I cannot believe we're 6 Gyms into BW already. Best Wishes really IS faster paced.

Anyway I suppose Cilan can go either way, if he wins its not like he'll get a badge.

Well they could always have Dento battling Skyla, lose/win then Ash realizes how strong Skyla is and wants to train a bit more. They go to Celestial Tower to for 1 ep, 1 more filler ep, then Ash goes back to challenge Skyla. Could also have Trip battling her come into play, we did get that Jellicent toy with the Kenhorou figure together a few months back.
 
Fukiyose Gym already? I wonder if Ash will battle her in the next episode...I could see some sort of delay. This gym came really quick, I was expecting a larger gap.
 
I don't see why people are expecting some delay. We had Bianca battle Elesa then Ash right after.

I'm really looking forward to this episode. As mentioned above, this is kinda like the Hikari v Sumomo episode which I really liked. Hikari was fighting to regain her confidence, I can't wait to find out why Dent is battling. Though... Air-Battle? Wouldn't that require Dent to have Pokémon that can... like... fly? I suppose this means the lean mean gliding machine Maggyo is going to be used, which would be good cause in my opinion he hasn't been used that much in battle. Considering Maggyo's last battle was, in my opinion one of the best battles in the entire Best Wishes series, I'm kinda glad to see it battling again.

The only downside is that if Satoshi's battle is indeed the following episode, this might mean another mid-gym evolution for Hatoboh, but eh, what can you do? :p

The writers sure are promoting the hell out of Cilan lately with these constant episodes. I am starting to think Cilan replaced Dawn, and Iris replaced Brock...since that's what their roles feel like this time...gender reversed.

I am predicting a loss for Cilan. I doubt we'll see Skyla lose twice.
 
Does it really matter who replaced who? Anyway, obviously I'm kinda meh about this episode, but skyla is my favourite gen 5 gym leader and I'm pleased to see that we've already gotten to her gym quickly. That was only like, 15 episodes since Elesa, and even less since Clay.
