Re: BWS2DA!E19 - Lapras

Wheres the proof for these episodes? I'd love it if this was true, cuz we'd at least get flashbacks to her but kind of hard to take this seriously without any thing to back this up =/

Dephender, a.k.a., a super reliable source posted these titles.

As usual, nothing beyond "this Pokemon will appear and most likely play a central role" is known yet. Stay tuned for more.

Though that still doesn't mean it's Ash's Lapras. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Ash helped an abandoned Lapras find its way towards its family and have flashbacks over his own Lapras throughout the episode.

If Satoshi's Laplace reappears... Man, what a slap on the faces of Satoshi's Butterfree fans that would be.

Broadcast data is, has and will always be a reliable source for these episodes. Many of Episode N's episodes were informed about that way.

Re: BWS2DA!E19 - Lapalace

Ok, well I'll trust that than and thanks. I could see Ash's Laplace appearing more than I could have with Butterfree, that thing can travel in the Sea whever it wants, I could see it coming to the spot Ash is at.

I think this will be Iris's final focus episode or she could simply overcome her fear in it.

Episode 18 - Pansage (Cilan focus)
Episode 19 - Lapras (Iris focus)
Episode 20 - Zekrom (Ash, Iris and Cilan see it as they finally approach Kanto)

Also, Iris and Cilan tend to have focus episodes back to back.

Of course, this is all just speculation, but I'd rather see Iris develop than Ash have flashbacks over his old Lapras. xD Then again, this could be another 'Ash helps an abandoned Lapras' episode.

I don't think that they would devote another episode to Iris' fear of Ice type. She has been able to get over it when necessary, so there's really no need to devote an episode for her to overcome her fear when she has been able to do that multiple times and it hasn't been much of a challenge for her to overcome it in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if it was basically Ash having flashbacks over his Lapras when they already did something similar with his Butterfree.

I wouldn't like that. While the Butterfree episode was cute in its own way, wouldn't it be kinda redundant? If anything, they should at least have his Lapras actually return, to make some difference. :/

The Iris from the games does own a Lapras as a Champion in B2W2... but it wouldn't make sense to have her anything to do with a Lapras in the anime too when she's probably about to leave soon.

Would make more sense if Ash meets up with Lapras again, as the Decolora Archipelago would be the perfect place for it to show up of course.

Well, they've done the whole Flashback thing before with Charizard, DA has mostly been flashbacks to Ash's older Pokemon for some reason.

edit;

I hope Iris has nothing to do with this, no offense to Iris fans just Lapras was one of Ash's Pokemon it'd feel weird yet sad to me if that was the case,

There is always the (unlikely) possibility of Iris not leaving at the end of the show. That said, my guess is that the Laplace in this episode isn't related to her.

It would, but I doubt that that would stop them from doing it. They've been going for nostalgia for Ash's older Pokemon ever since Charizard's return, so I wouldn't put it past them.

Not to mention that anime Iris isn't that similar to video game Iris and they've never shown any interest in giving her Pokemon that she has in her video game team. I could see Lapras' group traveling by one of the islands quite easily.

So now it's Lapras huh? Well I'm not surprised anymore. I'm still waiting for the (could be fake) Primeape to show up next along with the neglected Tauros and the abandoned Kingler.:eek:hdear:

I'm actually hoping that the Lapras appearing in this episode will not be part of the pod led by the one Ash released.

A relatively unknown Lapras will make for better speculation.

They are on a boat on the sea. A group of Lapras swims close to the boat. Ash realizes that one of them is his old Lapras...
That is what I think that the story will be about.

That would be cool if that was the case. They are technically in Kanto somewhere so it makes sense.

I'm going to come out and say that this will probably not be about Ash's Lapras. Not only will this likely lead to disappointment if we hope for it to be, but unlike some, I wouldn't care if it is just some passerby Lapras or school of Lapras, anyway.

I renew my demand for a Pidgeot episode if there's even the slightest mention of Ash's Lapras here.
