Byro Drawings...

Ah, thankyou, Sorry i put it in the wrong thread..

And do you honestly mean that? Lol because i got turned down for art at school :(

@RegiReece; Well, your school must have some standards that you haven't reached as yet. Just keep on practicing, and one you'll be recognized!

In the mean time, it'd be cool if you showed some of your other art.

@RegiReece;

Let me say, I think you're a fabulous artist. Those baby drawings are adorable! If you just fixed up that coloring style and made your lines more solid (less shaky? idk), people would love it!

Hey, I really like your drawings. One word of advice - if you use the [ IMG ] put link to picture here [/ IMG ] tag then you can display your pictures in thread rather than having to get people to click on links to see them.

Anyway, I really like your pictures. They're all really good, but my favourites are the baby Squirtle and the ninja Pikachu. I think part of the reason those two are my favourites is because it looks like you've given yourself more freedom with those ones, rather than trying to follow some sort of model and be really precise. As a result they both seem to have more character and more of you in them, particularly the Squirtle, which is always a good thing.

Sorry to hear you didn't get into art school, hope you post more soon!

Don't be mean to yourself, you're a good artist, I don't know why they turn you down for art (perhaps they wanted a more classical style...) but I really like the things I see here. You already have a pretty good grasp of foreshortening (I can really see this in both pictures of Mewtwo) and pretty good coloring too.

I think though that you should try to draw a Pokemon (or something of your choice) with some background and interesting lighting. One of the things you can do to get better is challenge yourself and push yourself beyond your limits. Trust me, it helps. Another thing, try to get a hold of a scanner and use it to scan your pictures in if you can. Even the ones at school might work if you don't have one at home...:)
