Idk if it's Google Chrome or your weird coding, but something went wrong.

2 screenshots btw in spoilers

Btw I didn't Photoshop anything, as you can see PS open in the 2nd screenshot. It's the only way for me to actually post screenshots and etc, since MSPain fails horribly.

I think the ads and NavBar got mixed up, cancelling out the ad. How, WTF I have no idea.

But I know nothing about it xD

Btw it seems fine on Mozilla Firefox 3.5 and IE 8.0(I think I can't keep up with every version of my shit)

The issue might be with Chrome, but do you have any addons in Chrome, or anything that would impair or alter its normal function?

All I have is a legit Google Chrome theme. It's endorsed and supported by Google and every site works fine with it, as I've been using it for the past 2 months. Also my Google Chrome is up-to-date with version 4.0. It might be the version but as far as I know, I didn't do anything to Chrome at all.

That usually happens if a <div> or a <span> tag isn't closed correctly, but it might be a different case since it works fine on IE and FF.

Get an account so you won't have to deal with the ads and the main page shouldn't be screwed up anymore either.

OK I'm on it.
That means it's a coding issue on our end.
Alright, hopefully you guys fix it.

EDIT:
I created an account, the problem is still there. It's not a big deal to me, but it's pretty odd. Hopefully you guys figure out whats wrong, or it might be just me ;_;

Lemme look through the code on that page, it isn't happening to me, but it's entirely possible that someone recently edited the main page and screwed up the coding.

EDIT: there doesn't seem to be anything wrong on that end that I can see. :/

Can't seem to reproduce this error in the latest version of Chrome, running on Windows 7. I do notice some odd behavior from the left sidebar though, with just the ad being pushed down to the bottom of the page, but still keeping all the columns properly aligned. I expect this may have to do with poor coding on the part of our advertisers, with those that were displaying at the time you viewed that page, however I can't be certain.

It's still happening. I'll report in this thread tomorrow after I come back from school and post some screen shots if anything changes or if it's fixed. I'll try to download Safari and maybe another browser to see if it's just Chrome, or maybe it's on other browsers too. All in all I'll run a few tests myself, trying to get a different browser skin, some add ons, minor stuff like that since I have no clue about anything to do with coding.

The problem is still happening ONLY on Google Chrome. Here is the website on the top 5 browsers(imo).
In order:
1. Google Chrome
2. Mozilla Firefox
3. Microsoft Internet Explorer
4. Opera
5. Safari

I have no clue what's wrong but the search thing is only a problem when I'm looking for many things on Bulbapedia at once and I need the info fast.
example: looking for the location of the move deleter, move relearner and move tutor in Platinum.

Chrome is, IIRC, in beta. We had issues for a while where certain new and/or really old browsers didn't render pages right for us, and that's impossible to fix for everyone--we fix it in Chrome it breaks in IE, for instance. We'll continue looking into the problem but I can't promise any fixes.

This should explain all:

Newer developer builds of Google Chrome are giving this problem to all MediaWiki websites and it is a known issue. However, the current build fixes this issue.

If you have any questions, feel free to pester me.

Alright I understand what's going on now from the 2 posts above. Although I quit using Chrome from now, and switched back to FireFox. <_< I like my weather widgets..but that's unimportant. Hopefully Google fixes this crap.
