in sinnoh, its the only region so far where all Gyms are on the mainland or whatever you would call it. this would only count for in-game
 
Improve the grammar and you're good to go. Sinnoh is in fact the only region where all Gyms are located on the continental land and not on outlying islands, as Kanto's got Cinnabar, Johto's got Cianwood, and Hoenn's got both Mossdeep and Sootopolis.
