Its origin, the Futakuchi-Onna, can, but considering the mouth is evolved steel horns, it might not be connected to the digestive tract.

I doubt it, as ingame they say it are very developed horns

I also think it wouldn't be very practical, seeing as a Mawile's giant 'jaws' are also its main defence, so I'm guessing they merely use it to catch/kill their prey (maybe chop it up a little) and eat with their normal mouth, so they can still defend themselves if they get attacked while eating

They may be attached, but it looks like its giant jaws are pseudo-mouths in that it can only bite, but it can't swallow, so those things are mainly for offence and defence.

Thanks for reading.

Don't think so, it may look like a giant mouth but that's the impression it wants to give. And something like that was never implied, like everyone said they're just horns.

I don't recall the jaw having a tongue, either. So no, I think they're just really toothy horns.

I think the jaw is just to intimidate enemies. It even has the ability Intimdate. Also, how would that make Mawile's digestive tract look? It would have to go straight through the skull area.

I have never imagined it to eat with those jaws/horns, but what if it used those jaws to help aid in tearing up its prey to make it easier to devour? Of course, this is assuming Mawile is a carnivore.

It is questions like this to where I really wish Game Freak would do more with the Pokedex entries instead of giving us the same entries with different wording every generation. In almost all of its Pokedex entries, it mentions that it has a docile face to fool its foes and its jaws are actually huge horns. The most "unique" entry is that it could chew through iron beams, and they mention that in four entries. :/
