I by NO means intend to sound perverted but can clothed human-like Pokemon from the wild be naked or start out naked? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I bet they would look really bad. xD

This is why I don't like Pokemon that have clothes or stuff that they keep, like Machoke, Machamp, Gurdurr etc.

I would think not... I like to think of the clothes as not actual clothing but something that's actually par of the Pokémon like skin or fur or something that just happens to look exactly like clothes. I mean... how would these Pokémon who probably aren't even all that intelligent be so civilized that they'd be able to produce their own clothes... and without factories or technology or anything to assist them... like everything must be hand-made or something. And not only that... everything is completely uniform. All Sawks have the exact same karate outfit on, lol. It is completely forbidden for a Sawk to develop a sense of fashion or style and maybe wear a different colour or different design. And also, these Pokémon must have some sort of unspoken law that they must wear clothes at all times, since they are all seen with clothes at all times, even from the moment of hatching from an egg.

Oh god. The Throw/Sawk and Gardevoir rule 34 is coming.
Do yourself a huge favor: Never get an account with pixiv. Just trust me on that. There are certain things that one can never, ever unsee.... >.<

I'm going to go with yes, they probably can. The karategi that they wear doesn't look as though it's attached to their skins, unlike a Gardevoir's skirt. So I'm betting that they could very well strip if they so desired, but don't.

And let's be honest here: Eevee and Pikachu are technically naked--they just have fur, like a cat or some other mammal.
...great. That means every Golett I have is running around starkers. That's just so wrong...

The real question is: How does Machop get underwear when it evolves into Machamp?

I think they can be, even though they are not shown that way for decency. Of course, the beauty of video games is that they don't make sense, and we love them because it's funny. Therefore, the Pokemon with clothes are likely to be born with them, and they can even grow along with them! That is amusing.

Thanks for reading.

Oh my gosh, what a hilarious sight would that be! But yes, I think they both can be naked. There's a lot of Pokémon, which have removable parts in their bodies. Like Oshawott's seashell, Spoink's pearl and Dwebble's rock home. So why not, why not...

I figure some pokemon have a sense of being naked themselves, so they'd need to wear clothes. Such as Sawk or Machamp. That fits with their quirkier designs.

As opposed to some pokémon who look like wear clothes, but it is just how they are. Such as Gardevoir or Lucario.

Where do these come from, now, is an exercise in fanon. Maybe they are born with them, or maybe they go to an store to buy them. Maybe there are secret caves full of clothing (Cubone and Marowak keep secret graveyards after all), or maybe they can even make their own clothes.

I think they make their own clothing.

Some of the humanoid fighting types may have a sense of vanity/modesty and they want clothing to cover up or accentuate their muscles. Why else would a Machamp/Machoke wear that nasty looking Speedo?

But Lucario's 'clothing' is obviously its fur, and Gardevoir's dress is obviously its skin. If that's the case, than pokemons like Bellossom or Petilil can be said to have dresses - but they're obviously 'flowers', and thus have flower petals.

As for Sawk and Throh... The way Stephen tried to borrow his Sawk's Black Belt at the Fukiyose Tower Challenge, It looks like Sawk's clothing CAN be undone, but does anybody wants to see what's underneath those clothes?

Hilarious? No. Trust me, seeing something like that.......a Throh, streaking..........:dead:

I think seeing a Sawk, Throh or Machamp naked would be fatal just from the sheer horror you would experience.

They are definitely born naked so I came up with this theory on how the clothing they are wearing is made first cotton provided by Cottonee or Whimsicott is handed to Leavanny who then sews it and hands it to them for the belt a group of Pawniard and Bisharp are hired by Sawk and Throh to ambush Bouffalant they peel off its skin and cut it to strips and hand it to them then head to the Dessert Resort for the final step they go to Darmanitan who heats and presses out the strips of skin with its fist and presto the belts are made as well as a full wardrobe : )
