First off, if I can't post this here, feel free to take it down

Okay, so I'm trying to access the Wi Fi on my Platinum version but for some reason I can't.

Everytime I try to connect to my home's internet (Dlink,) it tells me that I need the WEP password or something. Now, I'm assuming that the WEP is the password I use in my internet connection to access DLink in my laptop, but whenever I type it in, it tells me that it's invalid. This pisses me off because I can't trade/battle with my friends or in Wi Fi and the GTS is pretty much lost on me.

Am I doing something wrong or just being stupid? Or is there something the matter with my DS Lite and/or my Platinum version?

Help is HIGHLY appreciated

I'm pretty sure that the default WEP password is the wireless internet provider's default SSID. So just type that in your DS Lite and you should be fine.

Remember, WEP code and security key/passphrase are different.

Call me stupid but what's an SSID?

It's the name of your network. If you got as far as putting in the WEP, then you probably don't have to worry about it. It should also be written on your wireless router. Did you find your WEP there?

Not really, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I just know that nothing said WEP in the back of my router

Check all around the router, mine is on the bottom. Also, if you still have the box the router came in it might be there. Other then that, there's probably a way to find it from your computer, but I'm no expert on that. Maybe try checking the connection settings of a computer that's connected to it.
