Can someone help me remember this?

I vaguely remember waiting in the YWCA bored out of my mind when I decided to read a picture book available nearby. It was about a bunch of cats who'd disguise themselves as other animals to avoid a dog looking for them. One in particular (disguised as a rabbit, I think) gets trapped in a bramble bush and the others have to save their friend before the dog comes. I think the book was based of a toyline or something like My Little Pony or Pound Puppies but I dunno.

This has been gnawing at the back of my brain for a while so if anyone can help me figure this out, it would be much appreciated.
