Can you get Mew the same way in Firered and Leafgreen as in Red/Blue/Yellow?

Well, no. Obviously. It's a glitch. The whole thing about a glitch is that it's a bug in the programming - it's not intentional. They're hardly going to make the same mistake 10 years later when making another game.

Doesn't work. And while on the same kind of topic, has a glitch been revealed that allows us to get Celebi?

People have already tried it and it doesn't work. Since the glitch was brought to public attention shortly before Fire Red and Leaf Green, it was naturally fixed in the remakes.

It's not even that it was fixed....

The games are COMPLETELY new. They are made from scratch (Well, ish - they're based off the R/S engine). They have ZERO code relation to the original Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.

New glitches yes.

Old glitches, no - because that isn't how it works. They aren't cheats, they aren't little easter eggs hidden by developers. They're cockups in the code, simple as that. It's impossible for it to be repeated in a game that's written completely differently.

The only way I know for sure to get Celebi is to go to the Journey Across America thing.
