Can't edit post in "Bulbagarden Buy and Sell"

How come I can't edit my posts in the Bulbagarden Buy and Sell section?
 
In cases where users have to bid on an item, it prevents them from going back and changing the bid amount after they've won.
 
Oh okay then. How about for threads? What if I wanted to add more merchandise? (I don't really have a thread, but i'm just curious)
 
You can ask a staff member of that section (or s-mods/admins) to edit any new details in.
