Can't Get a Sig Pic Still

No matter what I do in my Edit Sig Options inside my User CP, I try uploading a file from my Computer onto the Forums by browsing them and no matter if I had saved one as a jpg image, it still won't show up in my Sig. I tried getting it to show for months and it still doesn't show up. Kthleen tried telling me how to get it but it's just too sophisticated. I still don't get how you're suppose to make the picture show up. So far, none of them have shown up in my sig. Can any one of you help? I believe I put the Haruka and Masato pic in my sig and still couldn't even get it to show whenever I posted around at the BMGF forums. No matter how hard I try!

After you upload it, I think you need to use the sigpic tags. What worked for me is
Code:
[sigpic][/sigpic]
Just use those tags where you want your sigpic to go after you upload it and it should work. Hope this helps.

I don't think this thing is uploading my Sig at all? How could I use that if it doesn't upload it? :(

Edit: All I did was try to update the signature, and it just froze up the Internet Explorer Browser.

Hmm, are you using the right image attributes? Is the picture too big? Is it using a format such as bmp that's not allowed? You might want to check into that as well. Of course the alternative is you could use something like photobucket or tinypic, upload your picture there and then copy the address given to you and place them between the

It probably says I need an account at tinypic.com. Do I really have to have one? Besides, it's taking a very long time uploading? Why is it going so slow?

For photobucket, yes, you need an account. For tinypic, you shouldn't need one at all unless they just changed it. I didn't think tinypic's uploading was slow. What kind of internet connection are you using? Usually saving something as a jpg is the best way to go because it's got a small file size yet it's good quality.

Internet Explorer! When it uploads, most of the bars have turned green, but it won't go any farhter. Therefore, we have a problem. I can't get on any other Internet Browsers on this computer because it's the only one that I have and that works. Oh now it went! That took like 8-10 minutes. See what I mean by slow? Too freaking slow!

It might not just be you. I'm using Safari as my regular web browser but when I tried loading Bulbagarden on Internet Explorer, it's very slow. It just might be a problem with IE for right now. If you haven't uploaded anything yet, try again later and then try one of the solutions I pointed out to you.

Well I got it uploaded onto tinypic.com but whenever I try uploading it into my Sig Picture and saving it, it now says "This JPEG image has the incorrect file extension." I don't even know how to get rid of that. I don't even know if anyone has any suggestions based on what Kthleen said and what the above poster said.

Can you post the link? I'll try it in my sig and see if I can come up with something.

Ah, I see what happened. Try this in your sig.

[img ]http://i41.tinypic.com/2v9slrq.jpg[/img] (Just remove the space in the first tag.)

When you upload a pic, it shows you about four or five boxes with different codes in it. Use the second one, it already has the tags in it. What you did was copied the actual web address and that's why it wouldn't accept it in your signature. Hope this helps you out. ^_^

Oh no! What have I done wrong now? IT'S TOO BIG! I must have it shortened! Any suggestions? Anyone?

I'll do it for you.

Edit: Here you go! [IMG ]http://i43.tinypic.com/23th2yv.jpg[/IMG] Just remove the space in the first tag like last time.

Sure thing! If you need anymore help, don't hesitate to PM me. Glad to have been able to help you out. ^^

They've already been replaced. I deleted what was in that little box so it'd only show up when I post. Not just in my Profile via User CP. Now everyone can see it whenever I post. It sure is a good thing to have friends to help, even ones that aren't in the Friends List. I'm going to contact a Mod to have this closed. The point of this thread was for me to get a Sig Picture since I didn't know how to get one, and now that since I do, there's no point in having this thread open anymore. Anyways, I'm going to bed soon. See you! Thanks again for the help !Tommy! Kthleen was the one who helped with me getting the links so I guess this was quite the multitasker!
