Despite a lot of you probably already knowing by now........

I'm not trying to rant or anything, but....it's just that after everything Capcom did to involve fans in development and all....it's just wrong.

Ok, it's not like we haven't seen a game get cancelled before, and I'm not like raging angry or really feeling all that mad at all, rather disappointment towards Capcom's decision to cancel the game. It's pretty different from any other cancelled game, because they gathered fans all over the world, not just Japan, to help the developers make the game by doing events to see what the fans would like in the game, so those that helped the developers make the game, so I'm pretty sure it hurts them the most after giving their time to help make a good Megaman game. Not to mention they also said that the release of the Prototype version(demo) on the 3DS shop would determine the game's fate, but they cancelled that and the game altogether. It just isn't cool of Capcom to ask for the help of fans all over the globe to help with the game's development, promise the game's demo would decide the game's release, and then just scrap everything in the end without releasing the demo at all. It's not really the refusal to release the game that hurts the people, it's really that Capcom didn't follow through with their promise to let the demo sales decide.
The thing that really bothers me the most is that it didn't meet "the required criteria", I mean are they not allowed to say the reason or something? I'm not blaming the developers for anything, but it's just so vague, it makes people end up guessing reasons. I mean sure, you can cancel a game, but they could at least give more light to the reason.

I was going to just mimic a comment on that link ("time to wait another 10 years"), but no, I don't care anymore. I'm no longer a capcom fan.

Another item to list in Capcoms latest screwups this year.

Capcom is getting bad. Really bad. Maybe they just hate the 3DS.

Oh, and to pour salt into the wound, they included another MML stage to the upcoming UMvC, but still no megaman.

I should've known that things would go downhill ever since Infuane left Capcom. They even cancelled Mega Man Universe as well. Truly this marks the end of Mega Man.

After doing some snooPING AS usual, I found that Capcom of Europe has been trolling/blaming the lack of fans taking part in development, so the game got cancelled, it's just a really big mess, the fans were mad already, and now they just pissed them off even more, because everybody can see that Japan and U.S participated a lot. Not only did they piss off the Mega Man community, but apparently...the whole Capcom community.
Trolling....total trolling on the fans...
They're saying the fans HAD to make the game in order for it to be released, even though they were helping already.

And right when I was getting interested...
I really hope this volley of dick moves eventually grinds to a halt.

I've heard that the people making MvC3 stages are the same people making the decision on whether or not to axe MML c/d

Before we start talking about how awesome Inafune is, we should probably all remember that he's gone fucking crazy:

Q.: What did you do right with Resident Evil? That sold well overseas.
On the other hand, Monster Hunter’s sold well in Japan, but not overseas.

A.: We were more successful with Biohazard/Resident Evil. We made the lead character American and he speaks English.

I’m always so shocked when I see global sales rankings. I think: Wow, Capcom’s ranked so low. However you approach it, we’re dead. Resident Evil sold 5 million copies. That’s still no good.

You ever ask yourself "why the fuck did Capcom think giving Ninja Theory Devil May Cry was ever a good idea?" Chances are good that Inafune had a hand in that.

In all seriousness, when they announced "uh, if people buy this test demo maybe we'll release the full game," you should have known MML3 was dead in the water (remember the "test game" shit Capcom pulled with the Wii?). The fan involvement stuff was great, but to me it seems like it was the developers' Hail Mary pass to convince the higher ups that the game might have a chance, and clearly the latter didn't see it that way.

Sheesh, I don't know what's going on in his head.

It makes you wonder why Nintendo never ask fan involvement for any of their franchises.

Makes sense to me, Americans tend to loathe anything that doesn't go to sleep every night wrapped in Old Glory.

I'm not really too fused about Legends (always preferred the X series), but I am pissed that Capcom seem intent on killing the Megaman franchise. It's not like Megaman is Capcom' mascot or anything /derp.

Captain Commando was suppose to be Capcom's mascot, but he hasn't made any appearances since MVC2.

I've noticed this about Capcom:
They go through phases of awesome games, but then go through a phase of absolute suckage.

Even if this is a phase of suckage, this is totally unacceptable. Capcom's just afraid of doing anything that isn't a carbon-copy sequel or remake nowadays.

I was never really a fan of the Legends series until this happened, and yet I find it ridiculous. Worst of all, they blame the fans for the cancelation, saying that "there was not enough fan imput", that's ridiculous, THOUSANDS of fans copntributed to the game, it's as if Capcom wanted every single Mega Man fan on the planet to contribute to the game, or more rathet, the fans do all the work while Capcom just sits there doing nothing. People are saying that Capcom is worse than Activision, and are declaring that they will never buy another game from Capcom again unless they finish Legends 3, it's as if they don't care about the series at all.

After snooping around on the devroom a bit more, I found out that CyberConnect2 wants to make Legends 3 after Asura's Wrath, if you guys played the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series, you'd know who CyberConnect2 is.
I also learned from a few posts that Capcom is gonna make....Hello....Kitty........
