Captain Rainbow!

So new game from the makers of Chibi-Robo. It's some bizarre combination of Chibi-Robo, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Super Smash Bros.

Teenage otaku Nick has a job as TV superhero Captain Rainbow, where he uses his magic Rainbow Yoyo to fight badguys. When his show is nearly canceled he heads to a magical island to try to get a wish. There he has to help out the population with their various problems and fight bad guys with stylish rainbow moves.

Also, all the residents of the magical island are minor Nintendo characters like Birdo, Hikari from Shin Onigashima, and you know R.O.B. will be in it to some capacity.

Looks awesome, and it's obviously very much inspired by the work of Clover studios.

I just watched some trailers today. Normally, I'd be like WTF?, but this is from the creators of Chibi Robo, a game made of win, and I like bizarre Japanese games, so if it gets localized, I will definitely check it out.

I'm totally in love with this game and it hasn't even come out yet. I've already put Captain Rainbow on my SSB4 wishlist. XD Here's praying to Arceus for its international release.
