Ok, I've decided to improve my Fakemons from earlier, so I deleted the old thread. As before, I'm gonna do 157 Pokemon, along with all the characters along the way, and eventually the region map.

Pokedex:
Key: Normal- Fully completed, no need for redesign; Bold- Will be redesigned; Italics- Completed, but not yet uploaded; Red- Thought of, but not completed

001. Tricertops
002. Triceraram
003. Tricerlord
004. Meteorgoul
005. Meteostorm
006. Meteoscare
007. Orniwings
008. Ornisting
009. Ornisting's evolution
010. Giant rat stage 1
011. Giant rat stage 2

Anyway, I've done the first four Fakemons, but here's the first one:

No. 001: Tricertops
1tricertops.png

If you've seen the original design, you would've known it wasn't very good. Well, here's the new, better version.

Data:
Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Grass Shield; This Pokemon's special and normal defense are raised if battling in tall grass.
Pokedex: Tricertops eats berries from the forest floor. When it is defeated, it cries out for its mother.
Location: Obtain from Professor Redwood in Seashell Town

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons

The photo quality could be better, but the design really improved ^^

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons

I tried to darken it a bit, but it failed. Anyway, I'm quite proud of it. I'll post its evolutions next.

EDIT: Here come Triceraram and Tricerlord!

No. 002: Triceraram
2triceraram.png

I first drew Tricertops without thinking of how to draw, and then I decided to add on bits. The wavy lines are fur. Triceraram comes from 'Tricera-' and 'ram'.

Data:
Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Grass Shield
Pokedex: Male Triceraram have more elegant horns than female ones. Under their deep fur, it is said that baby Pokemon sleep.
Location: Evolve Tricertops at Level 18.

No. 003: Tricerlord
3tricerlord.png

I wanted to go with a more mobile Grass starter than four out of the five final Grass starter evos. And I know that its lower half is rather boring, but I couldn't think of anything to add. 'Tricer' and 'lord'.

Data:
Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Grass Shield
Pokedex: With a swift crack of its tail, this Pokemon can create a loud sonicboom.
Location: Evolve Triceraram at Level 32

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (3/157 Done)

Again pic quality hindered this one,but it is good in the overall

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (3/157 Done)

I think the quality of yesterday's crappy pics was better...

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (3/157 Done)

Yes, but today's pictures are quite good quality wise.

Here's the fire starter's family.

No. 004: Meteorgoul

I thought that a meteor Pokemon was original, so I went with that. Along with being a meteor, it is a ghost. The name comes from 'meteor' and 'ghoul', but with the 'h' taken out due to the 11 character limit.

Data:
Type: Fire/Ghost
Ability: Levitate
Pokedex: This Pokemon's ghostly hands can extend to an amazing length, and then uses them to strike hard.
Location: Obtain from Professor Redwood.

No. 005: Meteostorm
meteostorm.png

Basically, this is just a bigger version of Meteorgoul, but with longer arms, a stranger face, and balls of fire appearing in front of it. The name comes from 'meteo' and 'storm'.

Data:
Type: Fire/Ghost
Ability: Levitate
Pokedex: This Pokemon's temperature can reach extremely high temperatures, such as 2000 degrees celsius.
Location: Evolve Meteorgoul at Level 16.

No. 006: Meteoscare
6meteoscare.png

I had to put two pictures together for this, so that's why it looks a bit dodgy. Anyway, this is basically meant to be a much bigger version of Meteostorm, and the name comes from 'meteo' and 'scare'.

Data:
Type: Fire/Ghost
Ability: Levitate
Pokedex: This Pokemon gets all the food it wants, because it scares weaker, more cowardice Pokemon to steal food from.
Location: Evolve Meteostorm at Level 36.

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (6/157 Done)

Nice pix, nice designs,I have an idea for a fire starter but am unsure bout posting it or not T.T

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (6/157 Done)

they are good

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (6/157 Done)

Here's the water starter.

No. 007: Orniwings
7orniwings.png

This Pokemon was somewhat influenced by Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. It can fly using the flaps underneath their arms. It also has a pouch, where it keeps its young. The name comes from the start of the family of the Platypus, 'Ornithorhynchus', and 'wings'.

Data:
Type: Water/Flying
Ability: Water Boost; If this Pokemon is battling in water or rain, its water moves are made more powerful.
Pokedex: This Pokemon runs fast on a runway or off a high place, and can then glide away up to 100 metres.
Location: Obtain from Professor Redwood.

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (7/157 Done)

Little creepy but kewl :ksmile:
When i first saw the name,I reminded me of my home language, portuguese, cause u see in portuguese platypus is ornitorrinco

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (7/157 Done)

I noticed that, but its probably just due to the latin name.

EDIT: Here's an Orniwings' evolution.

No. 008: Ornisting
8ornisting.png

Firstly, Ornisting now has a crown. Secondly, it now has a mane. It also has a slightly different tail. Finally, the male Ornisting has a stinger on its hind feet, just like male Platypus do. The name comes from 'Orni' and 'sting'.

Data:
Type: Water/Flying
Ability: Poison Point(MALE)/Water Boost (FEMALE)
Pokedex: Male Ornisting can unleash poisonous venom, which can poison innocent Pokemon.
Gender Difference: Male Ornisting have a sting, Females don't
Location: Evolve Orniwings at Level 16.

Just like Orniwings was pretty cool,it should avoid electric attacks:ksmile:
And like my secondary type changing after evolution new thing, ability per gender is pretty new too :ksmile:

I did that, because it wouldn't make since if the female had Poison Point even though it had no stingers.

Re: Captain Snivy's Improved Fakemons (9/157 Done)

Here's the Orniwings' final evolution, Ornifly.

No. 009: Ornifly
9ornifly.png

This was originally just a slightly bigger Ornisting, but then I added proper wings, bigger stingers, a pointed beak, a jeweled crown, and some more fur above the legs. The name comes from 'Orni' and 'fly'.

Data:
Type: Water/Flying
Ability: Poison Point (MALE)/Water Boost (FEMALE)
Pokedex: This Pokemon no longer has use for its flaps beneath its arms, because now it can fly with its wings, instead of gliding.
Gender difference: Male has stingers on their hind feet, Females don't have stingers but have more jewels on the crown.
Location: Evolve Ornisting at Level 36.

Yes, but Raccothief's been moved to #012. #010 is now Bosatusk.

It's based on the Bosavi Wooly Rat. With tusks.
