Anyone use them, and if so, what do they look like? I just recently bought some, since I was the only one in my League who wasn't using them, and I felt like a complete newbie (which I am, but still...) They've got a cute little anime fire fairy in a field of sunflowers on the back. They were the only ones that weren't overly fanservice-y (and even they had fanservice, since the fairy's skirt is shorter than her top), which is hard to get with anime design card sleeves. Still, they look super kawaii on my deck.

Sleeves are standard at our league. We've even had occasion to give them away in the past, especially to the younger players. There isn't a single rare or reverse holo in the league that doesn't have a sleeeve.

Mine are just plain black (well, "Gunmetal" according to the package, but whatever) opaque sleeves. Personally, I don't like (or like people using) sleeves with designs on them, due to having caught out a cheater who flipped cards around in his deck so he could find them easily due to the difference in the sleeve design at each end.

I've mostly got all my holos in plain opaque ones, a bunch of different colors. I do have a few that are foily looking. I recently saw some official Pokemon ones at Wal-Mart, but I didn't buy any of them, they didn't look like they were worth $5.00 a package.

All my paralell foils and duplicate holos are in clear sleeves.

Well, I can guess a lot of people might be upset by the new rules changes, which forbid art backed sleeves in Premier tournaments, due to potential issues with card marking. (Turn some cards around the other way in your deck in your deck, and see how easy they are to spot while sitting down, with the contrast to the rest of the deck in the other orientation.)

The art backed sleeves do look cool, though. I'venever bought any, but I've seen some really beautiful ones.

Yeah, I heard about that. And I understand why they're upset, too- it's 10 bucks where I live for 100 decent sleeves. After spending 8 bucks to get nice art sleeves, it can be annoying, especially when you're often broke (like me) and have to give up buying a few new boosters so you can follow the rules. Eh, cheaters ruin everything, I guess.

i do use some art backed sleeves but not for premier level tournament decks. my new tourney decks are gonna be art backed with the border around the art which are legal.

I really don't care what my sleeves look like, as long as they protect my cards.
