Hey All,
To complete my team I am doubting between 2 pokémon.
Please note before commenting:
- Only little cup pokémon are allowed (so no evolutions)
- Pokémon will be set to level 50 (this isnt for smogon)
- Item clause is on
- I already have Life Orb and Eviolite on other pokémon, so those are out
With that out of the way:
My team has a bit of trouble killing pokémon that have set up, so I have been looking at pokémon with increased priority or high speed that can deliver a punch. At the moment those 2 are the one I am doubting between:
Carvanha @ Focus Sash
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 Speed
Ability: Speed boost
- Crunch
- Protect
- Waterfall / Aqua Jet
- Destiny Bond
Start off with protect to gain a free speed boost and start hitting them with STAB Crunch. Im doubting between Waterfall (more power) or Aqua Jet (to hit boosted pokémon before my own speed comes in) Hopefully you can manage to take a pokémon out in 2 hits, get blasted to 1 hp (Focus Sash) and use Destiny Bond to take down another pokémon.

Nature: ??
EV's: Atk, Speed and Special Attack, no numbers yet
Ability: Water Veil
- Water Spout
- Ice Beam
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Earthquake
Not that special, Water Spout to hit like a truck and Choise Scarf for the needed speed. I know earthquake looks a bit weird considering his stats, but I figured it might have the element of surprise.
What do you think and why?
Bonus Question: I have a hard time calculating which of those pokémon actually hits for more damage.
