Pokémon 30th anniversary G-Shock watch
The Pokémon Company is continuing to roll out merchandise in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary, now collaborating with Casio for a special-edition Pokémon G-Shock. The watchmaker's arguably most famous model is getting a Pokémon makeover, featuring a translucent band decorated with 30 Pokémon, plus red, blue, and green details. The watch will be available first via a lottery system to customers in Japan, with winners able to purchase it on July 17th. The watch is listed on Casio’s international website as well, though no specific release date or method is announced.

Casio and Pokémon have collabed in the past for watches in the Baby-G line, which have smaller faces, making this the first full-sized Pokémon watch from Casio. The model features the 27 starter Pokémon from Kanto to Paldea on the clear resin band, plus Pikachu and Eevee. The 30th Pokémon is Mew, placed on the band loop. The face of the watch contains more Pokémon details, like the Poké Ball inset dial with its Pikachu indicator hand. The watch features the G-Shock GA-110’s usual selling points as well, including being shock- and water-resistant, a calendar and alarms, and an LED light for the watch face. The watch comes in a box and Poké Ball packaging featuring the 30 Pokémon.

The Pokémon G-Shock will be available in Japan via a lottery which is open for sign-up between July 1st and 6th. Winners will be announced on the 16th, and the watch will become available for them to purchase on the 17th. It will retail in Japan for ¥33,000 ($203.93 USD). The watch is listed on Casio’s English-language website as well, where its release date is vaguely July 2026, so it is likely the watch will become available outside Japan.
