Welcome to the Cassidy club, a club dedicated to Team Rocket member Cassidy, here are the rules:
No bashing
You are welcome to discuss Neoshipping or Yamushipping but it has to be related to Cassidy

Well, I like Cassidy. She's one of my favorite characters...so...can I join?

I have to join. Cassidy's my second favorite character in the anime! And being second favorite in my book is a super difficult rank to live up to. Heck, Liza didn't even make it to the top five!
Well as my avatar suggests, I just love Cassidy. I think she's about as hot as Clair but in a more sunny way with her shimmering, golden hair and those sunset pink earrings.
I'm a Neoshipper, used to be diehard but now I have to focus on other ships. I also like FunShipping (CassidyxMisty). Yamushipping's hot too but not exactly what I'm aiming for.
I wrote fanfic after fanfic when I was 14. I always thought to myself that if Cassidy lived in the US, she'd live in Pennsylvania but one of my best friends told me it was confirmed she and Butch were brother and sister and they lived in Texas...... but that probably only goes for the Liveaction show she watches. (Misty lived in Florida and was born in SanFrancisco)
I'm happy to be here though!

She reminds me a little of Blondie for some reason... not just 'cause of the hair, but the way Blondie sings... I think that's very Cassidy. ^^

Heck yeah! That's one of the reasons I love her so much. I wonder what makes her look like that.
btw, now that I'm looking through my pictures of her, she does seem hotter and sexier than Clair. OMG what am I saying?! Sorry, I'm used to Clair being my top priority.

I thought I was the only one who thought that! I dont recall most of Blondie's songs but "One way or another" truly reminds me of Cassidy. I'm so glad that song's on commercials often.
There are other songs that remind me of Cassidy. She's just one of those characters. I'd describe more about "those characters" but I dont even know where to start. Hopefully someone else here will understand what I mean.
To promote this club, I will post the first picture. It's an actual cel of Cassidy but I cropped it so it didn't look like a cel as much

IMO, the new digital colors of Pokemon truly ruined Cassidy's bright golden appearance for me. Now she's only 50% as attractive as she was. But that's what paint shop pro is for! ^_~

You know, if time warped back to the 80s I think Cassidy would look exactly the same as she does now. I've always wanted a pair of earrings like that.

This is funny, but when Cassidy and Butch made their first US appearance I was extremely dissappointed to find that they weren't going to replace Jessie and James, mainly for cosmetic reasons. I thought the black uniforms were sexier, I thought their hair was cooler, I thought Butch's voice was kick-ass, and I thought Cassidy's earrings were the shiznit, beeyotch. I really wanted them to be in more than one episode, so you can imagine that when they made their second appearance in the Orange Islands I had a damn near heart attack. XD
 
And I have another question to ask, do you think that Cassidy looks a lot like Kim Catrall you know, Samantha from Sex and the City(since both of them are blonde)?
 
I can't really answer that question, since I never watched Sex and the City.

I just watched Showdown at the Oak Corral, and though Cassidy's new VA took some getting used to, I loved it. Butch and Cassidy were pretty funny (I thought so anyway). That episode was made for Butch and Cassidy fans.

I also had a bit of trouble getting used to her new voice... her old one was so dominant! Very lovely. But yes, that episode was great!

btw, not too many people know this but the best nickname Cassidy could ever had is Sid as in Cassidy. Whenever someone calls her "Cass" I gag. That's just how I am.
And this club wouldn't be complete without the classic Pokeball throw that Cassidy probably also has. I'll put that on my to-do list XD
(it's kinda funny becuase when I say "this wouldn't be complete without" I usually include the named item within my post.)
 
Does anyone know who does Cassidy in Japanese? I'm trying to translate the kanji from one of the endings but I've only got half the name.
 
Hey, I've been thinking for a long time, what if Cassidy is highly obsessed with Jessie?
 
I think she's more obsessed with James than with Jessie, but she probably could get quite jealous if she thought about them being together all the time.
