This is my first time making a club so bare with me.^-^;;;;
I couldn't find any club on this so hopefully this hasn't already been done.

Practically I've seen alot of talk across many forums of people who just want to play Pokemon the way they use to play. No EV's, no IV's and no worrying about the game mechanics.

With the boom of competitive battling and the internet it's become harder to find people who don't want to worry about mechanics and just play the old way or as I like to call it casually.

I have done competitive battling in the past myself but I do want to start making teams that don't worry about the mechanics aswell. The old way in other words.

So yep I decided on this club as a result.

This club is for people who train teams who don't care about the mechanics and teirs ect. This club should hopefully help find other people who don't bother with the mechanics aswell.

You can also just talk about casual battling and gaming within the games if you want to. You don't have to battle.

Rules:
1.treat others with respect and no bashing.

2.When battling online in DP be fair and please no teams that are properly EV trained and IV bred. This club is set for those who don't do that. I will be biding by my own rules myself.

3. Have fun.


To sum it up it's literally training, battling and breeding in R,S,E,LG,FR, D, P and soon to be Platinum the old fashioned way like in GSC and RBY with no worry about mechanics. You can talk about your old games aswell if you want to aswell.

I'm in. It's really hard to do the EV training. I play against people with no EV training anyway.

I can understand.

It's alot of effort to EV train and I know some people would rather do it the old way since that's alot easier. Like us.

I've got 2 teams being trained in diamond with no proper EV training. Just training the old way against any Pokemon. It's very enjoyable playing it like I use to play the old games.=)

Hopefully I can get those up and going soon.

Yeah, I'm starting out a new team without ev training. It's almost done.

Blaziken, Salamance, Alakazam, Porygon2, Vaporeon, and Ursaring.
 
I guess I am in as well, I don't like most of the new game mechanics except for abilities but the whole EV and IV thing just confuses and intimidates me and yet that seems to be what quite a few people are obsessed with and only talk about. Another thing is that I also raise my favorites and don't go for ones just because it is the strongest or the fastest or the best attacker.

I tend to train my favourites aswell. Pikachu's been always on my team ever since I first started Pokemon and still is.^-^

I also liked to experiment with odd teams like entire teams of unevolved Pokemon. Though it's been years since I did that. So I'm hoping to get back into that aswell.

I find the games more enjoyable with favourites.

Just checking my Diamond game.
My two teams I mentioned earlier I'm going to start training tonight are:

team 1:
Pichu (which will become a Pikachu in the future, got attached to it)
Hoppip
grimer
Croagunk (my brother gave it to me as an egg)
Growlithe
Baltoy

team 2:
Riolu
Pichu (another Pichu I grew attached to)
Pachirisu
Squirtle
Bulbasaur
Charmander

Of course these teams I'm allowing to evolve. I just haven't had much time to train them yet but I'll be starting tonight.=)
I'm going to have to train another team for a team of unevolved Pokemon.

I hate it when people only raise Pokemon that they don't like just because There strong. Almost all Pokemon I raise I like.
 
It's sad when seeing people train Pokemon that they admit they don't like but it's their choice in the end.=/


What I don't like is when I'm told over and over again to evolve a Pokemon I don't want to evolve.

Anyway back when I wasn't a fan of raichu years ago I had this little problem that occured from training a Pikachu.

I think I've lost count how many times I've been told to evolve Pikachu since raichu is apparently better.=/
Oddly enough they always forget about the lightball.

I was even PM'd by someone over it when I was new to Serebii.net forum years ago. It was sorted out quickly but I wasn't expecting that.D=




I like raichu now however though it needed some convincing me in the cute factor.

Though I still can't evolve my MAIN Pikachu. When I say main it means pretty much I'll always have a Pikachu in my team. That said I'm training a raichu as an addition to my main Pikachu in green version now aswell since the anime and now Platinum made it look cute. I have a Pikachu in team and a raichu in other words. So I'm still not evolving my main Pikachu. So in a way I have 2 chu's in my team.^-^

So it's like a partner thing thus my sig.=D

I have trained Pikachu in my team for so long it just doesn't feel right without it.
Too much memories cling onto it aswell.=)

Anyone have favourites that have memories attached to them?

My friend gave me a Teddiursa on my Silver since I never caught one.

I loved my Teddiursa since then.
 
Ooh, I'm so in. You know, one of my best Pokemon in DP is a Mothim. I just wove him to death. And he's really strong, IMO.

I know. I never want to evolve my Croconaw into Ferligatr. ;_;

Oh, sure. My favorite Pokemon are the Luxray line, and I spent three months trying to get a shiny Shinx from chaining. Just when I was about to give in, I got a legit female shiny Shinx over GTS for a Cleffa. =D

But that's not the best part. Just about a week later, I decided to go back and see if I could chain any better for the heck of it. I got to 13, and I saw a shiny patch. I caught a cute shiny male Shinx, so now I have both genders. I love them both so much.

I like hunting for shinies myself whether it'd be chaining or the old fashioned way. I have a few favourites in those aswell.

Shiny pachirisu which I have named candy.

My shiny machamp (very first shiny I ever got as a machop) and I find it somewhat strong aswell.

My shiny Charizard and Totodile that was in Crystal (gotten after I got the Machamp in Ruby version) and sent to Pokemon stadium 2 just before my Crystal's battery died.

Actually back in Crystal version I had enough shinies to make a shiny team (barely enough anyway) and I actually did that by registering them in Stadium 2 as a team.^-^

So, I have a non-EV'd team that I used ingame. Three different tiers, too. Anybody want to battle? ^_^
 
I'll battle. I'll just have to rustle up what's in my PC though.=P

My ingame team. The movesets are pretty bad aswell so they're the most casual as you can get.lol

Level 100 single is the boost to level 100 isn't it?
 
Yeah. Just to make it fair since we don't know what the levels are.
 
Lol, that was funny. I sent out a Raichu and you sent out a Pikachu. ^_^

Either way, you had me thinking I might not win at times. That was a REAL Pokemon battle. And it was fun.

(BTW, do you know the theme of the nicknames?)
