So, a lot of the people I battle with don't really observe tiers or clauses or anything like that. So...I wanted to come up with a team basically based on the philosophy of "If they're going to do it, so will I." Please, if this is against the rules, feel free to close/remove it.

Shuckle@Leftovers
Impish nature
Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/ 128 Def /128 Sp. Def
-- Sandstorm
-- Substitute
-- Toxic
-- Double Team

This is the first instance of the philosophy I mentioned above. Meant to function as a lead/tank, and stay in the battle as long as possible. Sandstorm on the first turn, Sub or Toxic on the second turn, depending on what they have out, then do whichever I didn't use before on the third turn. Now as I mentioned, the people I usually battle with don't observe clauses -- ergo, spamming Double Team is totally allowed, and that's what I plan on doing behind, throwing up Substitutes and restarting the sandstorm as necessary.

Dusknoir@Leftovers
Relaxed/Brave nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-- Gravity
-- Will-O-Whisp
-- Pain Split
-- Protect/Confuse Ray/Dynamic Punch

My other annoyer/wall. The plan is to bring this in on things Toxic can't hit, then burn them with WoW, which according to Smogon has 100% accuracy in Gravity. Since there's no Fire/Poison or Fire/Steel types yet, everything can be hit with one or the other. Pain Split + Leftovers heals damage, while Protect adds to the insurance. Confuse Ray, however, can be a godsend against things that my other teammates can't handle as well. Dynamic Punch also has pretty good accuracy in Gravity, and gives me an attack as well as also confusing, but since Taunt seems pretty rare, I'm not as worried about not carrying an attack.

Lanturn@Damp Rock/Leftovers
Modest/Timid nature
Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 Sp. Atk/4 Spd
-- Rain Dance/Attract
-- Confuse Ray
-- Thunder/Surf
-- Double Team

This staller fights back. Rain Dance brings Thunder's accuracy to 100%, Confuse Ray and Double Team means that they won't be hitting me back too often. Attract may seem gimmicky, but it also means that against an opponent of the opposite gender, I cut their chance of attacking down severely. Thunder or Surf cleans up.

Flygon@Choice Band
Lonely/Naughty nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
-- Dragon Claw
-- Earthquake
-- Fire Blast
-- Stone Edge

A bit more conventional. I could always get one tutored Outrage in Platinum and trade it back to myself, seeing as this is currently going to be on my Diamond game, but that's a bit of a hassle. Dragon Claw will suffice, and not lock me into a move, either. Dragon/Fire/Ground gets unresisted coverage, while Stone Edge gets me some much-needed Flying coverage.

Jolteon@Wise Glasses
Timid nature
EVs: 4 HP/252 Sp. Atk/ 252 Spd
-- Thunderbolt
-- Shadow Ball
-- Signal Beam
-- Hidden Power Grass

Again, a bit more standard, and pairs well with Flygon. Signal Beam and Shadow Ball may have pretty similar coverage, but since I'm not raising any of my stats and Arena Trap pokemon and Mean Look are pretty rare, it doesn't matter so much. HP Ice gets me a BoltBeam combo.

Porygon2@Leftovers/Heat Rock
Trace
Modest nature
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpA
-- Tri Attack
-- Recover
-- Sunny Day
-- Solar Beam

LOVE Porygon2, especially with Recover. It's more than capable of setting up Sunny Day in order to spam Solarbeams, and Tri Attack is just awesome.

Since this isn't really used in a tier I'll accept gimmick options.

hmmm. I wouldn't use substitute on shuckle. How about stealth rock?
Since you're using gravity you could use earthquake in the fourth slot. I don't think gravity will raise WoW's accuracy but ok.
Don't use attract on lanturn and use surf and thunder instead of double team.
Jolteon's ok.
the sunny day solarbeam combination isn't usefull. It serously isn't. Use ice beam and thunderbolt/discharge instead. If you would like it to counter salamence and gyarados use 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA. You can also use hp fire on tri attack if you want

Heatran is Fire / Steel type.

I may do a more in-depth review later, but Tyranitar would be a better lead if you really want sandstorm. If so, add some more Sandstorm-immune Pokemon.

i would replace fireblast with flamthrower. it is more accurate. i agree both thunder and surf for lanturn
