Scans will be uploaded soon. This is not a joke. The info comes from the Pokéon Summer 2004 booklet that is available free with purchase from Pokémon Center's around Japan as of yesterday. It would appear that they upload the data into the gamepacks in a similar way to how the G/S english editions were updated by Pokémon Stadium 2, but honestly, I'm too tired at the moment to translate this paragraph.

Positively amazing stuff. Whenever you de-lazy yourself, translation would be awesome, but take your time.

Remember, all, you heard it here first.

Erm, I thought this was common knowledge: you get a ticket, go to the secret island 8 of the Nanashima (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) and can catch both Lugia and Ho-oh.

The screens in there are the same as the one in your booklet, and this was posted June 16.

Anyway. Maybe you are right that you beat Palette to this booklet, and that is something. Congrats if that is the case.

Rough translation follows. Anything in brackets is a word or words I'm not certain about in context.

Mysterious Ticket (Distributed Letter?) Decision!!
In Pokémon Fire Red / Leaf Green, it is possible to meet Lugia and Ho-oh by going to Navel Rock with a very important tool!
Navel Rock is?...............
If you hold the Mysterious Ticket, you will finally be able to go to Navel Rock, in the center of Nanashima's Map. Wait in the opened island rock cave's deep depths to recieve...Lugia and Ho-oh! Wait in their respective places! Make the most of your skill, and capture them for sure!!

well isn't he a member of this forum
he/they 'll eventually see it
in the mean time...
we can all gloat at the fact we saw it before him/them
but so did many people in Japan...
I like your Machop picture Exploud
it's hilarious

any news on how to get the ticket? I know that us North Americans had some silly event for deoxys, but I'm not sure about Lugia/Ho-oh. On a related note, does anyone know if Emerald can obtain the Eon Ticket by record mixing with a R/S game that had it downloaded? I'd test myself but I'm a long way from the E-4 and I don't know where a non-Eon Ticket game is anyway.

Yes, this has been known for ages, I thought. ^^ Navel Rock is also the only place to obtain the Sacred Ash island in Gen 3.

Can't you get to it in all the wireless games? FR/LG/E?

Did anyone ever get the ticket? I remember hearing about it, but I never heard about anyone getting it.
I did. I got it at Nintendo World on May 14th.

how do you get the mystery ticket

I don't think so in the US, since you can get Lugia from XD and Ho-oh from Colosseum...

I hate all these event things...I'll never be able to make it to them..

Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys are the problems. Jirachi, at least, was available through Channel. But you have to wonder why Celebi was removed from Colosseum in translation. I couldn't make it to where Deoxys was over here and I doubt Celebi will reach us either. =/
