Catch Mega Metagross in Pokémon GO on Saturday October 4th in the Mega Metagross Raid Day

Mega Metagross is the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's next Raid Day event, which is being held on Saturday, October 4th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the Raid Day:

• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Metagross from Mega Raids.
• Trainers will receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20 between Friday, October 3rd, at 5:00pm and Saturday, October 4th, at 8:00pm (PDT).

Featured Attack
Metagross that are encountered in Mega Raids during this Raid Day Event will know the Fast Attack Shadow Claw. After the event, Metagross will be able to learn the featured attack via Elite Fast TM.

Event Ticket
Trainers can purchase an event-exclusive ticket for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency), granting the following additional bonuses between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time on the day of this event:

• Trainers will be able to receive eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Increased chance for Trainers to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
• +5,000 XP will be received from Raid Battles
  • An additional +5,000 XP will be received from Raid Battles if the associated Global Challenge during the Steel Skyline event is complete.
• 2× Stardust will be received from Raid Battles

This ticket will only be available in the in-game shop until 5:00pm local time on October 4th. Trainers may gift this event-exclusive ticket to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Mega Metagross Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box
A Mega Metagross Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available for purchase for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). The box includes both an event ticket, and a bonus Premium Battle Pass.
