Catch Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in Pokémon GO on Saturday January 10th in the Kyurem Fusion Raid Day

The Legendary Pokémon of Unova are being featured in Pokémon GO's next Raid Day event, which is being held at the end of next week on Saturday January 10th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

Featured Pokémon and Attacks
Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will all be appearing more frequently in raids during this event, with these Raid Bosses alternating in pairs each half hour during event hours. Reshiram and Black Kyurem will appear together in the first half of the hour, with Zekrom and White Kyurem then taking over for the back half of the hour. Additionally, Trainers will have a chance to catch Kyurem after defeating either Black Kyurem or White Kyurem.

Defeating these Legendary Pokémon in raids will reward Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy, which can be used to fuse Kyurem into either Black Kyurem or White Kyurem respectively.

• 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy, are required to fuse Kyurem and Zekrom
• 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy, are required to fuse Kyurem and Reshiram

Fused Pokémon remain in that form until separated by their Trainer. Separating can be done at any time without cost. Please note that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem both cannot be traded, transferred to the Professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the Raid Day:

• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Reshiram, Shiny Zekrom, and Shiny Kyurem in raids.
• Trainers will receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20 between Friday, January 9th, at 5:00pm and Saturday, January 10th, at 8:00pm (PST).

Event Ticket
Trainers can purchase an event-exclusive ticket for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency), granting the following additional bonuses between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time on the day of this event:

• Trainers will be able to receive eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Increased chance for Trainers to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
• 50% more XP will be received from Raid Battles
• 2× Stardust will be received from Raid Battles

This ticket will only be available in the in-game shop until 5:00pm local time on January 10th. Trainers may gift this event-exclusive ticket to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Featured Attacks and Adventure Effects
The following Pokémon will have special attacks when encountered in raids during this event:

• Reshiram will know the Charged Attack Fusion Flare.
• Zekrom will know the Charged Attack Fusion Bolt.
• Kyurem may know the Charged Attack Glaciate.

After fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate, this attack will change into either Freeze Shock or Ice Burn respectively. These attacks will change back to Glaciate when Zekrom/Reshiram are separated from Kyurem.

To activate the Adventure Effects of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn for 10 minutes, Trainers will require 5,000 Stardust and 5 Kyurem Candy.

• Freeze Shock causes Pokémon encountered to not be able to move, making them easier to catch (including with connected accessory devices).
• Ice Burn makes the target ring in Pokémon encounters move more slowly, making it easier to land Excellent Throws, and making Pokémon much easier to catch (including with connected accessory devices).

By using additional Stardust and Kyurem Candy, the timers for both Freeze Shock and Ice Burn's Adventure Effects can be extended in increments of 10 minutes, up to a maximum of 24 total hours.

Please note that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem cannot currently learn Freeze Shock or Ice Burn via either Charged TM or Elite Charged TM.

Kyurem Fusion Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box
