Catch Solosis in Pokémon GO with next month's Community Day event on Sunday October 12th

Solosis, the Cell Pokémon, will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's October 2025 Community Day, which will be held Sunday, October 12nd, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Solosis will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with their Shiny variant. Trainers may also catch one that has a Special Background.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event:

• 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
• Trainers can receive an in-game surprise by taking a few snapshots during Community Day

The following additional event bonus will be active from 2:00pm to 9:00pm local time:

• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust
• Lure Modules will last for one hour
• Solosis will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules
  • Solosis attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny and may have a Special Background.

Featured Attack
From the beginning of the event until 9:00pm local time, Duosion that are evolved into Reuniclus will learn the Fast Attack Charm. This attack has 13 power in Trainer Battles, and 20 power in Gyms, and raids.

Paid Special Research
A Solosis Community Day-exclusive Special Research will be available for purchase for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Trainers who complete this research will earn additional encounters with Solosis (including three encounters with Solosis that have a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background), a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Field Research
Free Community Day-themed Field Research will be available. Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this research will be able to earn additional encounters with Solosis, as well as Stardust, and Great Balls. Some Trainers may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Solosis that have a Tales of Transformation-themed Special Background.

Ultra Community Day Box
An Ultra Community Day Box featuring five Ultra Balls and one Special Research ticket will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store during the event for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This web store deal will be available starting October 6th, at 10:00am (PDT).
