CCleaner and Registry Issues

If you've heard of the Piriform CCleaner then I have a question.
They have an option under Registry for the program to scan your computer and clean up those "issues" for you. Now I've heard from a few people it's not a good thing for programs to touch the registry unless I know what the hell I'm doing. So does anyone know if I should run a registry cleaner to scan for issues or should I leave it alone?

Frankly, I'd say it's actually lower quality compared to many of the others.

No dude, Norton is plain horrible. I've used it because it was stock on this laptop and I had it removed after about 4 hours. Although I never heard of Auslogics.
