Okay, so I'm attempting this glitch on Pokemon Crystal. On the wiki page, it says that two pokemon with reflect as its 4th move will produce a pokemon with the GS ball. I did the glitch correctly, but the pokemon came out with a sweet scent. Is the wiki information incorrect? I still have 4 bad clones, so I have a few more attempts left.

Okay, so it was holding a GS Ball. Does anyone know how to get Kurt to acknowledge it?

Assuming you've removed the ball from the pokémon and returned it to the sack, well. That event was only released in Japan, so maybe there's no way for a GS Ball to trigger it in any version but the Japanese one. That's the only explanation I can think of. D: I've never tried this hack myself, so... it's more of a useless guess than any real input.

Yeah, I thought I might not be able to get him to take it...Oh well, I was able to get a Celebi using two Sneasels. It messed up my game pretty good. All of my clones become bad clones every time. My character changed gender. Then, my boxes all became inaccessible. It was worth it though.

Did you use Pokemon Stadium to release your glitched pokemon? I did it on an emulator and my file came out fine. My only problem with it was that my Celebi started at level 100 and knew all random stupid moves.

Far as I know just having the GS Ball triggers the event. I hacked one into my Crystal (man, it's been seven years or so since then), but didn't give it to Kurt until after I'd removed the GameShark. Sure enough he waits a day and then you get Celebi in the Ilex Forest.

I got the bad clones from the regular cloning glitch. I just managed to get 5 of them in one time.

I was reading that you might have to have gotten all 16 badges before Kurt will accept the ball?

Anyway, I'm content for now.
