I can easily see the Trio favouring a movie they played a larger part in better than another one.
That or there's some differing opinions between them all.

I guess this special serves to promote the upcoming DVD re-release of the movies.
Which would be rather pointless, because they've never made or broken any of the movies. But this probably means that Movie 2 will be on top.

They already gave TRio the role of advertising the Keldeo movie in "Oak's" corner at the end of every ep and in their radio show
I find it kind of funny how TRio are the characters mainly used to advertise this movie, despite how this is the first movie that they didn't really appear in at all, aside from silent cameos...

It's still a new movie and I assume it'll still play by then...
They'll continue to advertise it as much as they can
I can see the movie promotions continuing at least till the end of August (I guess from September and on, Oak's corner might return to normal, and if the radio show will go on, they'll probably keep mentioning the movie until it won't play anymore)

I wonder how exactly they'll do it... will we just see scenes from past movies with narration by TRio? Will there actually be some kind of new content animation of the TRio smilarly to their Oak's corner appearances?...

It'd be interesting to know how the Japanese view the movies if that is true. Everyone here has mixed opinions on them if they don't just outright hate all the movies. I could definitely see TR themselves favoring 2 since that was the one that they played the largest role in, as far as I know.

I have trouble believing they would actually say something like, "this is the worst pokemon movie." Why would the writers want something to be considered the worst or bottom 3 movies? Makes no sense.

They obviously won't phrase it that way. It'll be more like "Coming in at number 15..."Legendary Pokemon and the Main Theme of the Movie, Second Legendary Pokemon"! That sure was a great movie, huh? Let's look at some highlights!"

Honestly, this sounds pretty cool to me. I like ranking the movies and I think it could be interesting to see the list that they make for this special and the highlights they choose for each movie. It sounds like a fun special to celebrate the 15th anniversary.

Sounds like a great idea! Although I must say that all these episode breaks are kinda annoying, especially when they'll be taking place in the middle of the tournament. But, I guess there's nothing to do about it.
Lucario & The Mystery of Mew better receive 1st place. That must happen, but if they're ranking the movies after the amount of screentime they received I could definitely see the second movie becoming their favored movie.
Either the Giratina or the Zoroark movie should come in dead last.

I think I'd prefer to see Destiny Dexoys or even the Victini movie in last place over the Zoroark movie. It wasn't one of my favorites, but I thought that the Zoroark movie was pretty decent.

Yeah, it's my favorite movie too. I could definitely see it making up to the top five, but receiving the 1st place will hard, since lots of movies in the series actually are quite good.
I actually can agree with you on the Victini movie, it got kinda stale due to Iris and Cilan being all left behind and Ash stealing up all of the screentime, but I actually enjoyed the first half of the movie a lot, so it's not that bad if you were to ask me. Also, I actually would be surprised if they actually were to put that movie in a low place. It is after all only one year old, and the DVDs are still surely selling, so in order to keep the adveritising for BW up I could see them giving the movie a high place just for the sake of that, y'know.

The Arceus movie better be dead last. And seeing the second movie up high would be great. I know some of us older fans don't expect younger fans to be familiar with every episode of a 15 year old series, but is it more likely for them to be familiar with all of the movies?
I also think it would be pretty funny if they just don't rank the first movie because they don't remember it ever happening.
