For the Elite 4 in BW2 the bulbapedia entries mention challenge mode not rematches. What is Challenge mode and how is it different?

Challenge Mode is the Hard Mode.
What they currently have are the first battles in Normal Mode, and the rematches in Challenge Mode. Ideally, they should have both battles in both modes, but the game just came out, so there's not much info yet.
