Do you guys think there will be a challenge mode in ORAS?

I want a challenging challenge mode, like all gym leaders, rivals and E4 have a mega on there team.

I doubt they'd give the first few Gym Leaders Megas when only fully evolved Pokemon can even Mega Evolve. Not to mention, it'd be highly unlikely for your first- or middle-staged Pokemon to defeat a Mega Pokemon.

I hope Easy, Normal and Challenge mode are available at the start of the game and not by that convoluted crap key system of B/W2. Like Team Gaara i doubt they'll give Megas to the first Gym Leaders or Megas to any Gym Leader at all, i think they reserve Megas only to the Champion, Rival and the Team Leader/s. But if they are going to give Megas to Gym Leaders i think the last three Gym Leaders should have one, around the sixth Gym Leader is where the majority of the pokemon reach their final stage.

And maybe they can add a Mega to the roster of each Gym Leader Rematch team.

GameFreak wanted to put full effort into these remakes if they don't add a challenge mode and/or rematches then that's not really effort is it? So I can see it in some form or another appearing in ORAS.
I am expecting for some reason to be battling two champions in a double battle at some point in it both using megas (Stevern with Mega Metagross and Wallace with Mega Milotic) but that would be in a challenge mode or something.

I certainly hope so, but considering how Game Freak loves arbitrarily removing gameplay features that are actually useful, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't return.

EDIT: And yes, if it returns, it must be made available to everyone from the start. The way it was implemented in BW2 made it nearly useless.

I hope that if it does some back it's available at the beginning as has been suggested before. I'd certainly be glad if later gym leaders, the rival, and the E4/Champion used megas in battle.

I really hope we get a Easy, Normal, Hard mode choice from the very beginning. Of course, I'd want Hard mode. If they really want to do their best with ORAS, they'll include it. I'd love to have a good challenge mode from the start. But, I don't mean just higher levels. And I don't mean more grinding, because I hate grinding. I mean raising AI; making a few teams, mainly GLs, slightly bigger; and only maybe just raise levels by 1-3 (depending on how easy they make levelling up. If it's as easy to get overpowered as in XY, they should raise levels more like 4-8).

I can see it now we'll get hard mode and everyone will complain hard mode is to hard remove it or make it easier xD just like everyone was complaining how slow it is to lev el pokemon up and then went to riot in the forums about rremoving the exp all ( even though is very possable to turn the darn thing off)

The E4 maybe when it comes to megas if not in challenge mode maybe when we rematch them

If Challenge mode isn't hard it has no point.
So they should make it as hard and Challenging as possible.
B/W2 Challenge mode wasn't hard Game freak should step up and make it a lot more Challenging.
And make it accessible from the start.

Challenge Mode is not coming back. Just let it go. Game Freak just loves to the add cool stuff to the series and throw it away later.

I'd love to proven wrong, though.

They need to make insane mode. Mega Probopass reporting in.

I'm already betting there won't be any challenge modes at all. Even if there was, they'd probably be locked again. I'd be ok with something like this: let the players have access to beginner, normal and hard mode from the start. "Critical mode" can be unlocked after beating the Champ (because it'll have roadside trainers with high levels, EV-trained teams, Battle Maison-esque movepools and held items that will screw casual players over).

BW2 Challenge Mode was respectable during the main game (if you were so lucky enough to have it then, which most of us weren't). It upped the levels decently and gave Gym Leaders an extra Pokemon. The only reason it didn't seem challenging was because when we played it, we had already beaten the game and had probably similar levels to Challenge Mode's bumped up levels in the post-game. Only thing else the could do is maybe have an upped AI like the Battle Maison opponents. At any point, it should just be made accessible from the start.

Beating Challenge mode to me was mostly a matter of leveling up a liiitle more.
Shin Megami Tensei and Xenoblade Chronicles are only two RPGs I've played and couldn't overcome by grind.

But I had fun in it and liked the upgraded teams. If it were to return, perhaps changing RS teams to Emerald's would be the way (plus a Mega for Steven's Aggron, which I don't see not happening)

I'd rather see additional content instead of extra difficulty modes. The B2/W2 difficulty changes felt like a somewhat pointless feature imo, especially considering you had to swap keys in the version you played with another player who had their respective key, and you had to complete the game to get the key. Needlessly fiddly & rather long-winded for a difficulty change that wasn't *that* drastic.

I won't be annoyed if it returns, yay for those who do want to see it. I just hope they make it easier to access.

Challenge mode should have all enemy trainers have perfect IV's and full EV's.

If they ever do implement difficulty levels again, I just hope they keep things from getting too convoluted. We don't need anything else other than Normal and Hard Mode and GameFreak should make them both available from the start, like any good sensible developer. Hide a Hard Mode switch if you don't want little kids to accidentally turn it on, but as the games have reached Kirby levels of difficulty, it'd be a nice concession to make for the older fans (especially because it's a remake).

I never played BW2's Challenge Mode, but from what I read there wasn't much of a change aside from the opponent's levels being higher--and naturally you're going to receive more EXP from defeating them anyway, so it ended up being not that much more difficult at all. Battle Maison-like AI and movesets would be nice, and maybe gutting the EXP Share to only work on one designated Pokemon before beating the Elite Four, where it can be upgraded thereafter.

I never got to use it during the actual game :\

I'd hope so and that you can use it from the start
