Champions and their Theme Music? Whose the best?

Okay, so I have been on this for a while. I hear everybody praise Cynthia, Lance, Steven (I praise this guy too *_*), and Gary; but bash Alder just cause he uses Bug-Types and his theme is "too happy".

Seriously. I think Alder is one of the BETTER champions. IMO, Gary is the worst: it's superficial, really. All it is is a rival prick who someone made it past all the weak elite four members of Kanto and tried to prove that he was the best thing since Rock and Potato Chips. No depth. None at all. Actually, he STILL lacked depth in HG/SS... he just got a cool new jacket and became MARGINALLY less a-hole-ish (wanna keep it as clean as possible, srry XDD)

So I ask you. Who is the best champ and who has the best music to you guys?

For me it's Cynthia. I love the music, it's good and gets into your head, she's not a douche, and we get good interaction with her before the champion match.

Lance's music in the original G/S is still my favorite.

As a little kid I was always nervous to fight in him in the Elite 4.

Cynthia. Best theme, strongest Pokemon, a woman. Alder is second, with his deep backstory and catchy theme.

I like Lance as a champion but prefer Steven/Wallace's music.

It's epic + nostalgia. You can't beat that.

Cynthia Cynthia Cynthia and nobody or nothing else. Everthing about her is simply perfect. Perfect theme, perfect Pokemon, perfect woman!

It's a tie between Cynthia and Alder as my favourite champion because I like both their designs and teams. My favourite theme would have to be Alder's; it just suits him perfectly IMO.

 

[Ghetsis-Dennis]

Cynthia is the overall best champion for a well-balanced team including one (and later, two) with no weakness. Lance has the best theme as it feels like the grand finale.

Lance has the best theme music, but Red wields it better than Lance ever could. Seriously, why is Red not in this poll?

I liked Gary mudderfukkin Oak's theme the best, but Steven was in close second. I can't believe nobody voted for him.

I prefer Steven/Wallace. I like type-based teams, and their music themes are quite catchy. It's a shame that Steven and Wallace are a bit weak.

I like Alder's theme (I mean now his own theme, his battle them is okay too) and his characther for the most. Alder is so calm and modest, and he really have all my sympathies. His own theme suits for him perfectly.

Dude, Lance and his theme rock. My favourite Champion and theme by far.

As everyone knows Blue's my favorite champion with Lance being a close 2nd. Out of all of them Lance has the...feel/aura of a champion about him. Alder probably has the best backstory and room design. With his temple and all. Honestly at the moment I can't really remember the theme music for any of them, but I do remember that I always felt nervous to battle Lance when I heard his.

My favorite was defiantly Cynthia, her music and pokemon were some of the best, next to lance.

Alder never caught my attention, his character was bland and he lacked the strength in his personality that even everyone else had.

It's TOO OVERBEARING. Red TECHNICALLY isn't a Champion. Aaaaand, he's too epic to be part of my list. I'd do him NO justice WHATSOEVER XDDD

As for me? I LOVE Cynthia. She's hot. She's strong. She brings all the girls to her house. She's hot... where was I?

Oh yeah. Alder is my second fave. Cause, well, LOOK AT HIM. He's so epic for these reasons; he has a pokeball necklace, his character is deep and palpable, he has long red hair, he looks like a super saiyan 3 (4?), AND he battle's you SITTING DOWN. Like "I KNOW my Volcarona will sweep ur team. Hyper Beam is my friend :3"
