If I were to take out my Hard Drives from my current System Unit and put them into a new Unit, would it boot up normally?

Yeah. It might complain about how you need to activate and blah blah but it will work. You might need to reinstall the drivers and if you have a OEM (Dell, hp, etc.) version of windows, change your key, but i have done that before with laptops.
