I got a reply before but i think the guy just went on website info rather than own expierence, after he answered someone closed my thread and told me to go on a thread called 'Simple questions, simple (or not) answers' for game questions but no one answered me there so i'll ask again here.

I'm playing classic Silver atm and i know that you can own a Lucky Egg in Gold/Silver but when i read on Bulbapedia it does state in one section that its for G/S/C with an 8% chance but when i scroll down to location it doesn't say GSC it only says C so...... i tried ALOT anyway and im up to 80 Chansey using Doduo tower making it alot easier :D whats the deal then am i unlucky or can u only catch a Chansey with one on Crystal?

Please don't go on website info i want someone who has actually got one themselves before and definatly know its possible.

PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THIS THREAD SKETCH TILL I GET MY ANSWER :) i would of used the other thread again but i just think it will be ignored because alot of talk about HG/SS and Diamond/Pearl

...Sure, you can ask that the thread doesn't get closed, but that doesn't change the fact that this isn't where such questions belong.

What Sketch and Umeko are trying to say is that this forum is for questions about Bulbapedia, Bulbanews, and the Bulbagarden Archives. This question is about video games. However, beenie692 isn't just asking a game question; this user believes the Bulbapedia has some incorrect information.

Just trying to clear things up.

I don't get the vibe from his/her post at all that s/he is saying "the information on Bulbapedia is wrong and it needs to be fixed." If that is what s/he is saying, then s/he is welcome to come back and tell us so when s/he gets an answer to his/her question. Which is not to be asked here.

For what it's worth, Bulbapedia does not give any Lucky Egg locations for Gold or Silver; the only Gen II game that has a location listed is Crystal.

Please note: The thread is from 16 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
