I was advised by other staff members to post this publicly.

I'm auctioning off a very rare Pokémon collector's item. It's a T-shirt autographed by Ikue Ohtani (the voice of Pikachu). Even better, I am donating 15% of the sale price to my local humane society. I just adopted a stray cat, and part of the reason why I had to was because the humane society is full with cats and has a waiting list to get animals dropped off (it's a no-kill shelter). I wish it could be more than 15%, but I'm very short on money because adopting the cat put me back an extra ~$300 in the past two weeks.

THE AUCTION

Full details are in the auction, but the shirt was autographed by Ohtani at a past Sakura-Con in Seattle. I bought the shirt from the Kinokuniya bookstore there. It has never been washed or worn.

Woah, cool she signed it with english characters! I hope you get a lot for it, selling any of my autographed stuff isn't really something I can do.

I would have thought something like this would be for the bulba-auction house, but I guess that is for other stuff.
 
Good luck I hope you get a lot for it, and for the humane society. All of my pets, minus one cat that was gotten from a home that wouldv'e had him killed if we hadn't taken him, have come from a humane society. I have gotten pets from 6 different humane societies around the world... I have tried volenteering but no! You have to be 18. *jerks*

15 percent? Just 15 percent? Why not 100 percent? Did you pay a lot of money for that autographed shirt?

Just looking at the last bid price of $3.99 by PokemonTrainerLisa, the contribution to the humane society would be 60 cents.

And I would bid higher for it, to help out the Humane Society.


But the problem is, I'm saving money to go to an anime convention next month, and I don't know how much money I can spend and still have enough left.... >_<
 
If Argy agrees to contribute 100 percent of the proceeds to the humane society, I'll bid 100 dollars for that shirt, PTL, and send it to you simply for being my internet friend and supporter.

Gadfly, stop trying to manipulate my auction. I have my reasons for everything. I am out a lot of money thanks to adopting the cat. Obviously you aren't having money issues if you can give away $100 that easily.

There is a reserve, by the way, so it's not going to sell at $3.99. lol
 
I posted in both pkmncollectors and pokemon. Never heard of the other one, but thanks for the tip.
 
Update: The auction is going to end today. The highest bid is around $6. I did lower the reserve price significantly. It is now under $30.
 
So, did you sell it?

If not, my $100 offer still exists. Keep $30 and donate $70 to the Humane Society.

What the heck is that supposed to mean? I said "Awwww" because of you giving it to PTL and because of you caring for the dogs and cats. o_O
 
Why didn't you say so? What you posted was open to interpretation.

I think part of your problem here is that you say whatever crosses your mind. Normally, that would be a good thing. However, you have established a reputation here rightly or wrongly. Mostly wrongly. Pity. I respect you. What you need to learn is diplomacy and when to apply it. Silence is part of diplomacy.

I thought it was implied by me posting directly after you. What else would I mean by saying "Awww?" o_O

But yeah, it was nice of you to give it to PTL and support Argy. Today we went by a Petsmart and they were selling abandoned dogs, and I felt so sorry for them.
