Articuno is the next Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE — It will be available to play from April 10th. Articuno is a Ranged Defender that does Special damage, with Novice difficulty. Players can obtain its Unite license via a Research event, where they can complete missions to obtain special coins which can be exchanged for a variety of prizes.
The Electrode Volleyball World Tour, an online tournament for the Electrode Volleyball game mode, will be held throughout April. It consists of 7 regional tournaments held on weekends this month: Japan - April 4th, France - April 4th, Spain April 5th, Asia Pacific (West: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines) - April 11th, North America -April 18th, Latin America - April 19th, and Asia Pacific (East: Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea) - April 25th. Each tournament will begin with a single-elimination Open Qualifier, with the top eight (8) teams then proceeding into the single-elimination Best-of-3 Playoffs, held later on the same day. To participate, players will need to sign up using the appropriate regional sign-up link. The matches will also be streamed live on the official English and Japanese Pokémon UNITE YouTube channels: @pokemonunite and @ポケモンユナイト公式チャンネル.
